四平现代职业学院是经吉林省人民政府批准设立、教育部备案的公办全日制专科层次高等职业学校，其前身为1934年建校的吉林师范大学分院，2025年正式更名。学校历经伪满奉天省立第八师范学校、四平市幼儿师范学校等历史沿革，是吉林省第一所幼儿师范学校，被誉为“吉林省幼教师资培养的摇篮”，目前为四平市唯一一所公办五年制师范专科学校。

Siping Modern Vocational College is a public full-time vocational college approved by the Jilin Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor, established in 1934, was the Branch of Jilin Normal University, which was officially renamed in 2025. With a history including the Puppet Manchukuo Fengtian Provincial No.8 Normal School and Siping Preschool Normal School, it is the first preschool normal school in Jilin Province, known as the "cradle of preschool education teachers in Jilin". Currently, it is the only public five-year normal college in Siping.

学校以学前教育为特色优势，办学40年来已为社会培养培训幼教人才两万余名，四平地区95%以上的幼儿园园长均为该校毕业生。作为四平市幼教师资培训中心和中小学心理健康辅导中心，学校承担吉林省农村幼儿教师国培计划等项目，累计培训各级幼教人员超5000人次，形成了“培养+培训”一体化的学前教育人才培养体系。

Specializing in preschool education, the college has trained over 20,000 preschool education professionals in the past 40 years, with over 95% of kindergarten principals in Siping being its graduates. As Siping's Preschool Teacher Training Center and Mental Health Counseling Center for Primary and Secondary Schools, it undertakes national training programs for rural preschool teachers in Jilin, having trained over 5,000 preschool education personnel at all levels, forming an integrated "cultivation + training" talent development system for preschool education.

学校位于四平市铁西区，校园规划占地面积及教学设施完善，开设智能物流技术等适应现代产业发展的专业。依托深厚师范教育底蕴与多元办学模式，学校持续为区域基础教育和经济社会发展培养高素质技术技能人才。
