石家庄信息工程职业学院毗邻中国(河北)自由贸易试验区正定片区和滹沱河生态区，是一所由石家庄市人民政府举办的全日制高等职业院校。学院办学历史最早可上溯至1963年的河北省石家庄专员公署商业职业学校，后几经发展变迁。1999年，石家庄市财经学校、石家庄市第一商业学校、石家庄市第二商业学校、石家庄市财贸干部学校合并成立石家庄市财经学校。2002年，石家庄市财经学校升格为石家庄信息工程职业学院。2020年10月，学院搬迁至藁城区天祥大街81号、82号，校园面积、办学规模跨入全省职业院校第一方阵。

Shijiazhuang Information Engineering Vocational College is adjacent to the Zhengding Area of China (Hebei) Pilot Free Trade Zone and the Hutuo River Ecological Zone. It is a full-time higher vocational college run by the Shijiazhuang Municipal People's Government. The college's educational history can be traced back to the Hebei Shijiazhuang Commissioner's Office Commercial Vocational School founded in 1963, which has undergone several development and changes since then. In 1999, Shijiazhuang Finance and Economics School, Shijiazhuang No.1 Commercial School, Shijiazhuang No.2 Commercial School, and Shijiazhuang Finance and Trade Cadre School merged to form the new Shijiazhuang Finance and Economics School. In 2002, Shijiazhuang Finance and Economics School was upgraded to Shijiazhuang Information Engineering Vocational College. In October 2020, the college moved to No. 81 and No. 82 Tianxiang Street, Gaocheng District, and its campus area and school-running scale have entered the first echelon of vocational colleges in Hebei Province.

校园占地2020.8亩，建筑面积70万平方米，设有10系4部1学院，主要开设有电子与信息大类、装备制造大类、财经商贸大类、文化艺术大类、农林牧渔大类等专业大类，共50个招生专业。现有在校生23000余人，教职工1300余人，学院教师中具有硕博学位的教师占60%以上，高级职称教师占40%。学院现为河北省高等职业教育创新发展行动计划省域高水平高职学校、高水平专业群立项建设单位；全国女大学生创业实践基地；全国物流教学十大创新品牌院校；十四五期间教育强国推进工程储备院校；省级职业技能培训定点机构；河北省校企合作典型生产实践项目建设单位。

The campus covers an area of 2020.8 mu with a building area of 700,000 square meters. It has 10 departments, 4 divisions and 1 college, mainly offering 50 enrollment majors in such professional categories as electronic and information, equipment manufacturing, finance and trade, culture and art, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery. Currently, there are more than 23,000 students and over 1,300 faculty members. Among the college's teachers, more than 60% have master's or doctoral degrees, and 40% have senior professional titles. The college is now a provincial high-level vocational school and a high-level professional group project construction unit under the Innovation and Development Action Plan for Higher Vocational Education in Hebei Province; a national practice base for female college students' entrepreneurship; one of the top ten innovative brand colleges for logistics teaching in China; a reserve college for the Education Power Promotion Project during the 14th Five-Year Plan period; a provincial designated vocational skills training institution; and a construction unit for typical production practice projects of school-enterprise cooperation in Hebei Province.
