西江大学（Sogang University）是韩国著名私立大学，1960年由美国教育传教士创立，位于首尔市中心新村地区，毗邻延世大学、梨花女子大学，三校学分互认。学校以优秀师资、高质量教学和现代化设施闻名，多次在韩国客户满意度调查（NCSI）中位列全国第一，2017年《中央日报》韩国大学排名中综合位列第六，人文社科为传统强项，经营学、传媒学等专业尤为突出。

Sogang University, a renowned private university in South Korea, was founded by American educational missionaries in 1960. Located in the Sinchon area of central Seoul, it neighbors Yonsei University and Ewha Womans University, with mutual credit recognition among the three institutions. Known for its outstanding faculty, high-quality teaching, and modern facilities, the university has repeatedly ranked first in the National Customer Satisfaction Index (NCSI) among Korean universities. In the 2017 university rankings by South Korea's JoongAng Ilbo, it placed sixth overall, with traditional strengths in humanities and social sciences, and particularly prominent programs in Business Administration and Media Studies.

The university currently has over 11,000 undergraduate students and more than 4,000 graduate students (2015 data), adhering to a "small yet elite" educational model. It is a member of the Association of Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia (ACUCA) and accredited by AACSB International. The Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) offers English-taught programs in International Relations, International Finance, etc. The Korean Language Education Institute attracts approximately 3,500 international students annually, renowned for its practical language instruction. Distinguished alumni include Park Geun-hye, South Korea's first female president, contributing numerous talents to the economic and cultural development of Korea and the world.
