商丘工学院是经教育部批准的全日制民办普通本科高校，坐落于被誉为“殷商之源、华商之都”的中国历史文化名城河南省商丘市。学校始建于1994年，2011年4月经教育部批准，在原商丘科技职业学院基础上建立商丘工学院，实施全日制普通本科教育。

Shangqiu Institute of Technology is a full-time private ordinary undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education. It is located in Shangqiu City, Henan Province, a famous historical and cultural city in China known as "the source of Yin Shang and the capital of Chinese merchants". Founded in 1994, the university was established as Shangqiu Institute of Technology on the basis of the former Shangqiu Vocational College of Science and Technology with the approval of the Ministry of Education in April 2011, offering full-time ordinary undergraduate education.

学校设有机械工程学院、土木工程学院、信息与电子工程学院、经济与管理学院、教育与现代艺术学院、医学院、马克思主义学院、基础教学部、体育教学部9个教学院部，开设本科专业32个，形成了以工学为主，工学、管理学、经济学、教育学、艺术学、医学等多学科协调发展的学科专业体系。

The university has 9 teaching colleges and departments, including the School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Civil Engineering, School of Information and Electronic Engineering, School of Economics and Management, School of Education and Modern Art, School of Medicine, School of Marxism, Department of Basic Teaching, and Department of Physical Education. It offers 32 undergraduate majors, forming a discipline and professional system with engineering as the main focus, and coordinated development of engineering, management, economics, education, art, medicine and other disciplines.
