四川工商学院是经教育部批准设立的综合性民办普通本科高校，其前身是2001年成立的四川师范大学电子信息工程学院，2004年经教育部批准设立为独立学院四川师范大学成都学院，2015年转设为四川工商学院。学校建有成都和眉山两个校区，占地面积2000余亩，在校生30000余人。学校坚持社会主义办学方向，全面贯彻党的教育方针，秉承“明德、博学、求实、创新”的校训，坚守“三心三实”的办学初心，践行“崇工重商、理实兼优”的办学理念，以培养高素质应用型人才为核心，立足四川经济社会发展和产业需求，重点面向“新工科”“新商科”，探索以产教融合、实训贯通为主要特征的应用型人才培养模式。

Sichuan Technology and Business University is a comprehensive private ordinary undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor was the College of Electronic Information Engineering of Sichuan Normal University, established in 2001. In 2004, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to become an independent college named Chengdu College of Sichuan Normal University, and was transformed into Sichuan Technology and Business University in 2015. The university has two campuses in Chengdu and Meishan, covering an area of more than 2000 mu, with over 30,000 students. Adhering to the socialist orientation in running schools and fully implementing the Party's educational policy, the university upholds the school motto of "Virtue, Erudition, Practicality, Innovation", adheres to the original aspiration of "Three Hearts and Three Earnests", and practices the educational philosophy of "Emphasizing Industry and Commerce, Integrating Theory and Practice". Focusing on cultivating high-quality applied talents, it is oriented towards the economic and social development and industrial needs of Sichuan, focusing on "New Engineering" and "New Business", and exploring an applied talent training model characterized by industry-education integration and practical training.

学校现有二级学院8个，本科专业46个，涵盖工学、管理学、教育学、经济学、文学、艺术学6大学科门类。近三年建有省级一流专业建设点4个、省级应用型示范专业6个、省级重点特色专业7个。师资队伍方面，现有各类教师1700余人，其中国家（省、市）级优秀教师、劳动模范、三八红旗手、师德标兵、享受政府津贴专家等30余人；获批省级课程思政示范教学团队2个，省级优秀教学科研团队3个。实践教学体系完善，拥有各类实验实训室264个，校企合作校外实践基地120个，建立了眉山市电子信息现代产业学院等6个现代产业学院。近三年，本科新生报到率均超过95%，人才培养与社会需求的吻合度达96.28%，毕业生初次就业率平均超过90%，用人单位对毕业生总体满意度达95%以上。

The university currently has 8 secondary colleges and 46 undergraduate majors, covering 6 disciplines including engineering, management, education, economics, literature, and art. In the past three years, it has built 4 provincial-level first-class professional construction sites, 6 provincial-level applied demonstration majors, and 7 provincial-level key characteristic majors. In terms of the teaching staff, there are more than 1,700 teachers of various types, including more than 30 national (provincial and municipal) excellent teachers, model workers, March 8th Red Banner Holders, model teachers' ethics, and experts enjoying government allowances; 2 provincial-level curriculum ideological and political demonstration teaching teams and 3 provincial-level excellent teaching and research teams have been approved. The practical teaching system is complete, with 264 various laboratories and training rooms, 120 off-campus practice bases in school-enterprise cooperation, and 6 modern industrial colleges including Meishan Electronic Information Modern Industrial College. In the past three years, the enrollment rate of undergraduate freshmen has exceeded 95%, the coincidence degree between talent training and social demand has reached 96.28%, the average initial employment rate of graduates has exceeded 90%, and the overall satisfaction of employers with graduates has reached more than 95%.
