山西财贸职业技术学院是经国家教育部、山西省人民政府批准建立的全日制专科层次公办普通高等学校，隶属于山西省教育厅管理。学院始建于1978年8月，前身为山西省财贸学校，历经多次升格与发展，2002年4月正式更名为山西财贸职业技术学院，2021年7月获评山西省“双高计划”高水平专业群建设单位。

Shanxi Vocational & Technical College of Finance & Trade is a full-time public higher vocational college at the junior college level approved by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Shanxi Province, under the administration of the Shanxi Provincial Department of Education. Founded in August 1978, the college was formerly known as Shanxi Finance and Trade School. After several upgrades and development, it was officially renamed Shanxi Vocational & Technical College of Finance & Trade in April 2002 and was awarded as a high-level professional group construction unit of Shanxi Province's "Double High Plan" in July 2021.

学院位于太原市民航南路26号，占地面积10万余平方米，校舍面积9万余平方米，设有会计系、经济贸易系、物联网技术系等8个教学单元，共26个招生专业。其中大数据与会计、制冷与空调技术为中央财政支持重点建设专业，市场营销、现代物流管理等多个专业获评省级品牌与特色专业。现有校内专任教师203人，在校生规模8848人，图书馆藏书50万余册，电子图书24万余册，教学实训设施完善，是山西省示范性高等职业院校。

Located at No. 26 Minhang South Road, Taiyuan City, the college covers an area of more than 100,000 square meters with a building area of over 90,000 square meters. It has 8 teaching units including the Department of Accounting, Department of Economic and Trade, Department of Internet of Things Technology, offering 26 enrollment majors. Among them, Big Data and Accounting, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology are key construction majors supported by the central finance, and Marketing, Modern Logistics Management and other majors have been awarded provincial-level brand and characteristic majors. There are 203 full-time teachers and 8,848 students. The library has more than 500,000 printed books and 240,000 e-books, with complete teaching and training facilities. It is a示范性 higher vocational college in Shanxi Province.
