三峡电力职业学院是经湖北省人民政府批准成立、教育部备案，由中国能建葛洲坝集团举办的全日制普通高等职业学院，其前身为1975年成立的葛洲坝职工大学，至今已有40余年办学历史。校园坐落于世界水电之都——湖北省宜昌市，占地面积28.6万平方米，建筑总面积17万平方米，以建筑、电力、交通、环保为特色，集职业教育与职工培训为一体，是面向社会、服务企业的开放型多功能教育培训平台。

Three Gorges Vocational College of Electric Power is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the Hubei Provincial People's Government, registered by the Ministry of Education, and sponsored by China Energy Engineering Gezhouba Group. Its predecessor was Gezhouba Staff University founded in 1975, with a history of over 40 years. Located in Yichang City, Hubei Province, known as the "Hydropower Capital of the World", the campus covers an area of 286,000 square meters with a total building area of 170,000 square meters. It features architecture, electric power, transportation, and environmental protection, integrating vocational education and staff training as an open, multi-functional education and training platform serving society and enterprises.

学院师资力量雄厚，拥有一支专业理论水平高、实践教学经验丰富的“双师型”教师队伍。现有教职工306人，40%的专任教师具有副高级以上专业技术职称，80%的专业教师具备专业实践技能等级证书或相关工作经验，并聘请40余位电力行业及知名高校、企事业单位的技术专家担任客座教授。学校设有8个教学单位，各类在校生9000余人，开办20余个高职专业，建立20多个校内职业技能培训基地，与40余家企业建立校企合作关系，推进产教融合、校企协同育人，获批教育部现代学徒制试点院校、湖北省双高建设学校等荣誉称号。

The college boasts a strong faculty with a team of "double-qualified" teachers who have high professional theoretical level and rich practical teaching experience. There are 306 faculty members, among whom 40% of full-time teachers have senior professional titles or above, 80% of professional teachers hold professional practical skill certificates or relevant work experience. Additionally, over 40 technical experts from the power industry, renowned universities, enterprises and public institutions are employed as visiting professors. The college has 8 teaching units, with more than 9,000 students and over 20 higher vocational majors. It has established more than 20 on-campus vocational skills training bases and cooperated with over 40 enterprises to promote industry-education integration and school-enterprise collaborative education. It has been approved as a pilot college for modern apprenticeship by the Ministry of Education and a "Double High-Level" construction school in Hubei Province.
