山西晋中理工学院（原中北大学信息商务学院）创建于2002年，2021年2月经教育部批准转设为独立设置的全日制本科民办普通高等学校。学校位于晋商故里晋中市，总占地1000余亩，建筑面积30余万平方米，紧邻高铁晋中站与山西大学城，交通便利。

Shanxi Jinzhong Institute of Technology (formerly Information Business College of North University of China) was founded in 2002 and approved by the Ministry of Education to be transformed into an independent full-time private undergraduate university in February 2021. Located in Jinzhong City, the hometown of Jin merchants, the university covers a total area of over 1,000 mu with a building area of more than 300,000 square meters. It is adjacent to Jinzhong High-speed Railway Station and Shanxi University Town, enjoying convenient transportation.

学校教学科研仪器设备总值近亿元，建有3D打印、智能硬件云、企业全景运营AR实训、机械VR实训中心等各类实用新型实验室70多个，图书馆馆藏纸质图书114余万册、电子图书136余万册。现有专兼职教师700余人，其中高级职称300余人，海外归国高级人才60余人，全日制在校生近20000名。

The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment in the university is nearly 100 million yuan. It has more than 70 practical laboratories such as 3D printing, intelligent hardware cloud, enterprise panoramic operation AR training, and mechanical VR training centers. The library has a collection of over 1.14 million paper books and more than 1.36 million e-books. There are more than 700 full-time and part-time teachers, including over 300 with senior titles and more than 60 overseas returnee senior talents, with nearly 20,000 full-time students.
