邵阳通航职业技术学院是经湖南省人民政府批准、教育部备案的全日制普通高等职业院校，是湖南省第一所专注培养新兴低空经济领域高技能专业人才的通用航空高职院校。学院秉承“人民至上，振兴中华”的办学宗旨和“厚德笃行，长技精艺”的校训精神，遵循“立足低空经济，培养大国工匠，铸造职业名校”的建校方向，确立“天下一匠，忠诚一兵，艺术一生”的人才培养目标。

Shaoyang Vocational and Technical College of General Aviation is a full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Hunan Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. It is the first general aviation vocational college in Hunan Province focusing on cultivating high-skilled professionals in the emerging low-altitude economy field. Adhering to the school-running purpose of "People First, Revitalizing China" and the school motto of "Virtue and Practice, Mastery of Skills and Arts", the college follows the school-building direction of "Based on Low-Altitude Economy, Cultivating Great Craftsmen, and Building a Famous Vocational School", and establishes the talent training goal of "A Craftsman in the World, A Loyal Soldier, and An Artistic Life".

学院坐落于邵阳市新邵经济开发区雪峰路，校园规划总面积552亩，总建筑面积26.98万平方米，总投资10.08亿元。现设有通航飞行学院等7个专业二级学院，开设无人机应用技术、飞机机电设备维修、空中乘务等8个紧密对接低空经济和航空产业的专业。现有专任教师172名，其中高级职称62人，研究生以上学历71人，双师型教师84人，为培养高技能人才奠定了坚实基础。

The college is located on Xuefeng Road, Xinshao Economic Development Zone, Shaoyang City, with a planned total campus area of 552 mu, a total construction area of 269,800 square meters, and a total investment of 1.008 billion yuan. It currently has 7 professional secondary colleges including the College of General Aviation Flight, offering 8 majors closely connected to the low-altitude economy and aviation industry, such as UAV Application Technology, Aircraft Electromechanical Equipment Maintenance, and Flight Attendant. There are 172 full-time teachers, including 62 with senior professional titles, 71 with postgraduate education or above, and 84 double-qualified teachers, laying a solid foundation for cultivating high-skilled talents.
