沈阳工业大学工程学院成立于2004年1月，是经国家教育部批准备案的独立学院，2014年12月停止办学。学院地处辽宁省辽阳市，以工科为主，涵盖经济、管理、法学等学科门类，培养应用型高级专门人才。

Shenyang University of Technology Engineering College was established in January 2004 as an independent college approved by the Ministry of Education. It ceased operations in December 2014. Located in Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province, the college focused on engineering disciplines with coverage of economics, management, and law, aiming to cultivate application-oriented senior professionals.

学院占地面积19.7万平方米，建筑面积6.38万平方米，教学仪器设备总值1645.5万元，图书18.9万册。设有机械工程、控制工程等5个实验教学中心和11个校外实训基地，现有本科学生4220人，专任教师204人，其中副高级职称以上96人，博士、硕士学位教师94人。

The college covered an area of 197,000 square meters with a building area of 63,800 square meters. It had teaching equipment worth 16.455 million yuan and a collection of 189,000 books. There were 5 experimental teaching centers including Mechanical Engineering and Control Engineering, along with 11 off-campus training bases. The college had 4,220 undergraduate students and 204 full-time teachers, among whom 96 held associate senior titles or above, and 94 had doctoral or master's degrees.

学院坚持“育人为本、德育为先”理念，注重实践教学与创新创业教育，学生在全国大学生英语竞赛、数学建模竞赛等赛事中获国家级奖项6项、省级奖项15项。秉承“严谨、求实、勤奋、创新”校风，为区域经济社会发展培养了大批应用型人才。

Adhering to the philosophy of "student-oriented education with moral education first", the college emphasized practical teaching and innovation & entrepreneurship education. Students won 6 national awards and 15 provincial awards in competitions such as the National College English Competition and Mathematical Modeling Contest. Upholding the school spirit of "rigor, realism, diligence, and innovation", it cultivated a large number of application-oriented talents for regional economic and social development.
