Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (abbreviated as MATE) is a public technical university in Hungary, with its main campus located in Gödöllő, approximately 30 kilometers from the capital Budapest. Founded in 1953, the university enjoys a high reputation in the fields of agriculture and life sciences and is one of the important educational and research institutions in Hungary and even Europe. Its Agriculture and Forestry program ranks first in Hungary and 201-250th in the world.

It offers over 40 programs from undergraduate to postgraduate levels. Focusing on integrating teaching and research, the university has established partnerships with internationally renowned universities and research institutions, conducting in-depth research in smart agriculture, ecological technology, sustainable development and other fields.
