Suzhou Top Institute of Information Technology was founded in 2002. It is a full-time regular higher education institution approved by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, registered with the Ministry of Education, and qualified to independently issue academic diplomas. 学校地处全国最强地级市——苏州，位于全国百强县之首的昆山市，坐落在风景秀丽的阳澄湖畔，校园占地320亩，环境优美，是一所园林式校园。学校立足区域经济和社会发展需求，紧密对接电子信息、智能制造、数字文创和现代服务等产业，打造信息技术特色，培养地方经济和区域产业高质量发展需要的高素质技术技能型人才。现设有信息技术学院、机电技术学院、现代服务学院、数字传媒学院、国际教育学院、继续教育学院六个二级学院及思政体育教学部，开设社会亟需的专业26个，现有全日制在校生6500余人，教职工400余人。

The school is located in Suzhou, the strongest prefecture-level city in China, and in Kunshan City, the top of the national top 100 counties. It is situated on the beautiful shore of Yangcheng Lake, covering an area of 320 mu. The campus is beautiful and is a garden-style campus. Based on the needs of regional economic and social development, the school closely connects with industries such as electronic information, intelligent manufacturing, digital cultural and creative industries, and modern services, creates information technology characteristics, and cultivates high-quality technical and skilled talents needed for the high-quality development of local economy and regional industries. It now has six secondary colleges, namely the School of Information Technology, the School of Mechanical and Electrical Technology, the School of Modern Services, the School of Digital Media, the School of International Education, and the School of Continuing Education, as well as the Department of Ideological and Political Education and Physical Education. It offers 26 majors that are in urgent need of society, with more than 6,500 full-time students and more than 400 faculty members.

学校坚持产教融合、校企合作，依托区域产业优势，与优质企业紧密合作，创新实施“三循环递进式”工学交替人才培养模式，构建政、校、行、企合作育人机制，积极探索冠名班、订单班、现代学徒制、新型学徒制、共建实习实训基地等合作育人模式。多个合作育人项目荣获苏州市校企合作示范组合，学校连续多年荣获“政校企合作优秀院校”称号。办学以来，已为社会培养了近3万名优秀的技术技能人才，毕业生就业率和满意度始终保持在较高水平，2020年以A等级通过江苏省高校毕业生就业工作量化考核。

Relying on regional industrial advantages, it has close cooperation with high-quality enterprises, innovatively implements the "three-cycle progressive" work-study alternating talent training model, constructs a government-school-industry-enterprise cooperative education mechanism, and actively explores cooperative education models such as named classes, order classes, modern apprenticeship, new apprenticeship, and co-construction of internship and training bases. A number of cooperative education projects have won the Suzhou School-Enterprise Cooperation Model Combination, and the school has been awarded the title of "Excellent College for Government-School-Enterprise Cooperation" for many years. Since its establishment, it has cultivated nearly 30,000 outstanding technical and skilled talents for the society. The employment rate and satisfaction of graduates have always remained at a high level, and in 2020, it passed the quantitative assessment of employment work for college graduates in Jiangsu Province with grade A.
