天津城市职业学院是经天津市政府批准、教育部备案、河北区政府主办的公办全日制普通高等职业学院，始创于1958年，前身为天津市河北区职工大学。学院以“修德励学，强能笃行”为校训，秉持“自强、实干、团结、创新”的学院精神，形成了“职业教育社区化、社区教育职业化”的办学特色，构建了以高职教育为主体，继续教育和社区教育为两翼的“一主两翼”办学格局。

Tianjin City Vocational College is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the Tianjin Municipal Government, registered with the Ministry of Education, and sponsored by the Hebei District Government. Founded in 1958, its predecessor was Tianjin Hebei District Workers' University. With the school motto of "Cultivating Morality and Encouraging Learning, Strengthening Abilities and Practicing Earnestly" and adhering to the college spirit of "Self-improvement, Practical Work, Unity, and Innovation", the college has formed the school-running characteristic of "Vocational Education Socialization and Community Education Professionalization", and constructed a "One Main and Two Wings" school-running pattern with higher vocational education as the main body, continuing education and community education as the two wings.

学院坐落于天津市中心城区，位于天津火车站与天津北站之间，交通便捷，周边毗邻意式风情区、大悲院等人文景观。现有学历在校生6千余人，年教育服务5万余人，开设26个高职专业，其中中央财政支持重点建设专业2个，天津市示范校重点建设专业5个，教育部现代学徒制试点专业3个，形成了社区服务、财经商贸、自动化技术、信息技术四大专业群。

The college is located in the central urban area of Tianjin, between Tianjin Railway Station and Tianjin North Railway Station, with convenient transportation and adjacent to cultural landscapes such as the Italian Style Town and Dabeiyuan. Currently, there are more than 6,000 full-time students and over 50,000 annual educational services. It offers 26 higher vocational majors, including 2 key construction majors supported by the central finance, 5 key construction majors of Tianjin demonstration schools, and 3 pilot majors of the Ministry of Education's modern apprenticeship system, forming four major professional groups: community service, finance and commerce, automation technology, and information technology.

学院建有华为现代产业学院、鹤童康养产业学院等特色产业学院，拥有近100个实训室和虚拟企业财务运营中心等教学实践平台，与中国移动、华为、联想等200余家企业深化产教融合，培养技术技能人才。近年来荣获“全国优秀成人继续教育院校”“天津市高水平示范性高等职业院校”等称号，毕业生就业率保持良好态势，社会声誉卓著。

The college has established characteristic industrial colleges such as Huawei Modern Industry College and Hetong Health Care Industry College, with nearly 100 training rooms and teaching practice platforms such as virtual enterprise financial operation centers. It deepens industry-education integration with more than 200 enterprises including China Mobile, Huawei, and Lenovo to cultivate technical and skilled talents. In recent years, it has won titles such as "National Excellent Adult Continuing Education College" and "Tianjin High-level Demonstrative Higher Vocational College". The employment rate of graduates remains in a good state and enjoys an excellent social reputation.
