天津电子信息职业技术学院始建于1953年，伴随着共和国成长，坚定社会主义办学方向，为党和国家事业培养了大批德智体美劳全面发展的社会主义建设者和接班人。进入新时代，学校致力于打造具有中国特色、世界水平的高职院校，秉承“据于德、游于艺”的校训精神，以立德树人为根本任务，培养更多高素质技术技能人才、能工巧匠、大国工匠，聚焦服务新基建国家战略及信息技术应用。

Tianjin Electronic Information College was founded in 1953. Growing alongside the People's Republic of China, it firmly adheres to the socialist orientation in running schools and has cultivated a large number of socialist builders and successors with all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics and labor for the cause of the Party and the country. Entering the new era, the college is committed to building a vocational college with Chinese characteristics and world standards, adhering to the school motto of "Based on Virtue, Engaged in Arts", taking moral education as the fundamental task, cultivating more high-quality technical and skilled talents, craftsmen, and great country craftsmen, and focusing on serving the national strategy of new infrastructure and the application of information technology.

学校坐落于国家职业教育改革创新示范区、国家产教融合试点城市核心区——天津海河教育园，现有全日制在校生11000余人，校园总占地面积800亩，总建筑面积186680.29平方米。拥有硬件配置一流的教学科研场地、数智化一站式学生服务社区中心与学生公寓、功能完善的学生活动中心，图书馆馆藏各类纸本、电子图书100万余册，搭建了基于云的“一网一中心”智慧校园基础设施体系。

The college is located in Tianjin Haihe Education Park, the core area of the national vocational education reform and innovation demonstration zone and the national industry-education integration pilot city. It currently has more than 11,000 full-time students, with a total campus area of 800 mu and a total construction area of 186,680.29 square meters. It has first-class teaching and research venues with hardware configuration, a digital and intelligent one-stop student service community center and student apartments, a fully functional student activity center. The library has a collection of more than 1 million paper and electronic books, and has built a cloud-based "one network, one center" smart campus infrastructure system.

作为国家示范性高等职业院校、“双高计划”A档高水平专业群建设单位，学校主动融入天津市“一基地三区”建设，与华为、京东、海尔等行业领军企业深入合作，建设多个产业学院，专业分布覆盖人工智能、云计算与大数据、5G通信与物联网、智能制造等重点产业领域，形成“数字赋能、快速迭代、跨界融合、自立自强”的“津电模式”，为区域经济社会发展提供有力人才和技能支撑。

As a national demonstration higher vocational college and an A-level high-level professional group construction unit of the "Double High Plan", the college actively integrates into the construction of Tianjin's "One Base, Three Zones", and has in-depth cooperation with leading enterprises in the industry such as Huawei, JD.com, and Haier to build multiple industrial colleges. The majors cover key industrial fields such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing and big data, 5G communication and Internet of Things, and intelligent manufacturing, forming the "Jindian Model" characterized by "digital empowerment, rapid iteration, cross-border integration, and self-reliance", providing strong talent and skill support for regional economic and social development.
