天津工程职业技术学院坐落于天津市滨海新区,前身为天津大学石油分校,2001年经天津市政府批准正式成立,是以工科为主,兼有经、管、艺术等多学科的全日制综合性高等职业技术学院。学院占地779亩,建筑面积20多万平方米,全日制在校生8000余人,秉持“立足行业、面向社会、贴近经济、服务企业”的办学方向,形成了学历教育与职业培训并举的特色办学模式。
Tianjin Engineering Vocational and Technical College is located in Binhai New Area, Tianjin, formerly known as the Petroleum Branch of Tianjin University. Approved by the Tianjin Municipal Government in 2001, it is a full-time comprehensive higher vocational college focusing on engineering, with disciplines covering economics, management, and arts. Covering an area of 779 mu (about 519,333 square meters) with a building area of over 200,000 square meters, the college has more than 8,000 full-time students. 学院设有石油与化学工程系、机电工程系、建筑工程系等6个教学系,开设石油工程技术、石油化工生产技术、工程造价等32个专业,其中石油工程技术为天津市重点专业,石油化工生产技术和工程造价专业获国家财政支持。教学仪器设备总值8000万元,建有60余个校内实训基地和56个校外实习基地,实行“双证书”制度,毕业生职业资格取证率达100%。近年来荣获“全国职业教育先进单位”“天津市文明校园”等称号,为石油石化行业及区域经济培养了大批高素质技术技能人才。
