天津艺术职业学院成立于2002年，是经天津市政府批准、国家教育部备案的国办全日制艺术类高职学院，其前身是拥有64年历史的天津市艺术学校（原天津市戏曲学校）和34年历史的中国北方曲艺学校。学院以传承中华优秀传统文化艺术为核心，形成了以戏曲、曲艺等传统技艺类专业为骨干，音乐、舞蹈等表演类专业为支撑，舞台技术、文物修复与保护等文化产业服务类专业协同发展的办学格局，下设8个教学系部，培养了大批德艺双馨的艺术人才。

Tianjin Art Vocational College, founded in 2002, is a public full-time art vocational college approved by the Tianjin Municipal Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Its predecessors are the Tianjin Art School (formerly Tianjin Opera School) with a 64-year history and the Northern China Quyi School with a 34-year history. Focusing on inheriting excellent traditional Chinese culture and art, the college has formed a disciplinary structure centered on traditional art majors such as opera and Quyi, supported by performance majors like music and dance, and supplemented by cultural industry service majors including stage technology and cultural relic restoration. It has 8 teaching departments and has cultivated numerous artistic talents with both moral integrity and professional skills.

学院坚持“知行并重、德艺双馨”的校训，深耕文化艺术职业教育，深化产教融合与校企合作。校内专任教师中高级职称占比达44.93%，在校生在全国职业院校技能大赛等赛事中屡获佳绩，毕业生多人次荣获梅花奖、文化奖等国家级艺术大奖，被誉为天津乃至全国重要的艺术人才培养基地。校区分别位于河东区娄山道27号和南开区苍穹道8号，总占地面积80667平方米，为学生提供了优质的教学与实践环境。

Adhering to the motto of "Equal Emphasis on Knowledge and Practice, Integration of Morality and Art", the college deeply engages in cultural and artistic vocational education, promoting industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation. Among full-time teachers, 44.93% hold senior professional titles. Students have achieved outstanding results in national vocational college skill competitions, and graduates have won national art awards such as the Plum Blossom Award and the Wenhua Award. The college is recognized as a key art talent training base in Tianjin and beyond. With campuses located at No. 27 Loushan Road (Hedong District) and No. 8 Cangqiong Road (Nankai District), it covers a total area of 80,667 square meters, providing an excellent teaching and practice environment for students.
