天津医学高等专科学校始建于1908年，是天津市唯一一所医学类高等专科院校，前身为中国第一所公办护士学校——北洋女医学堂。学校是全国百所“国家示范性”高等职业院校，2019年底被评为“中国特色高水平高职学校和专业建设计划”高水平学校建设单位，成为双高校中唯一一所卫生类院校。

Tianjin Medical College was founded in 1908, formerly known as Beiyang Women's Medical School, the first public nursing school in China. It is the only medical college in Tianjin and one of the national 100 "National Demonstrative" higher vocational colleges. At the end of 2019, it was rated as a high-level school construction unit under the "China特色高水平高职学校和专业建设计划" (Double High-Level Plan), becoming the only health-related institution among the double-high-level colleges.

学校坐落于天津市河西区柳林风景区，占地600亩，设有护理、药学、临床医学、口腔医学等26个专业，面向全国招生，在校生近8000人。学校拥有5所附属医院和190余家校外实训基地，构建了校院企协同育人体系，毕业生就业专业对口率连续保持在90%以上。

Located in the Liulin Scenic Area of Hexi District, Tianjin, the college covers an area of 600 mu and offers 26 majors including Nursing, Pharmacy, Clinical Medicine, and Stomatology, enrolling students nationwide with nearly 8,000 current students. It has 5 affiliated hospitals and over 190 off-campus training bases, establishing a school-hospital-enterprise collaborative education system, with the professional employment rate of graduates remaining above 90% for consecutive years.

作为全国卫生健康职业教育教学指导委员会副主任委员单位，学校荣获国家级教学成果奖10项，建有2个国家级专业教学资源库和13门国家在线精品课程，在国际交流方面与15个国家建立合作，马里鲁班工坊项目成为全国首批鲁班工坊示范项目。

As the deputy director unit of the National Health Vocational Education Teaching Steering Committee, the college has won 10 national teaching achievement awards, built 2 national professional teaching resource databases and 13 national online quality courses. In international exchanges, it has established cooperation with 15 countries, and the Mali Luban Workshop project has become one of the first national Luban Workshop demonstration projects.
