唐山职业技术学院是河北省综合性高等职业院校，其前身可追溯到1951年始建的唐山市卫生学校。2001年经河北省政府批准，由原唐山市卫生学校、农业学校、商业学校、财贸干校合并组建。学院2019年被教育部认定为国家优质专科高职院校，现有南湖、新华道、韩城、滦州四个校区，占地面积1000余亩，全日制在校生1.3万余人，教职工780余人，设有医学系、口腔系等13个教学单位，开设40余个专业，形成以医学为主，新医科、新工科、新商科、新农科协调发展的专业布局，拥有4个教育部骨干专业和1个河北省高水平专业群。

Tangshan Vocational and Technical College is a comprehensive higher vocational college in Hebei Province, whose predecessor can be traced back to Tangshan Health School founded in 1951. Approved by the Hebei Provincial Government in 2001, it was formed by the merger of the former Tangshan Health School, Agricultural School, Commercial School, and Finance and Trade Cadre School. Recognized as a National High-quality Junior College by the Ministry of Education in 2019, the college now has four campuses (Nanhu, Xinhua Road, Hancheng, and Luanzhou) covering an area of over 1,000 mu, with more than 13,000 full-time students and over 780 faculty members. It comprises 13 teaching units including the Department of Medicine and Stomatology, offering over 40 majors. The college has developed a professional layout centered on medicine with coordinated development of new medicine, new engineering, new business, and new agriculture, boasting 4 backbone majors of the Ministry of Education and 1 high-level professional group in Hebei Province.

学院秉承“立德树人、服务发展、促进就业”办学宗旨，荣获教育部国防教育特色学校、国家级高技能人才培训基地等称号。近三年师生获省级以上技能竞赛奖项140余项，立项建设国家级专业教学资源库，牵头制定多项教育部专业标准，建有国家级虚拟仿真实训基地。毕业生去向落实率连续三年超97%，与中车集团等百家企业深度合作，积极开展国际交流，培养应用型技术技能人才，服务区域经济社会发展。

Adhering to the educational philosophy of "Establishing Morality, Serving Development, and Promoting Employment", the college has been awarded titles such as the Ministry of Education's National Defense Education Characteristic School and National High-skilled Talent Training Base. In recent three years, teachers and students have won over 140 provincial and above skill competition awards. It has established national-level professional teaching resource databases, led the formulation of multiple Ministry of Education professional standards, and built a national virtual simulation training base. The employment rate of graduates has exceeded 97% for three consecutive years. The college has in-depth cooperation with hundreds of enterprises including CRRC Group, actively carries out international exchanges, cultivates applied technical talents, and serves regional economic and social development.
