江苏大学是一所位于江苏省镇江市的重点综合性大学，是江苏省人民政府和农业农村部共建高校，首批江苏省高水平大学建设高校。学校办学历史可追溯到1902年刘坤一、张之洞等在南京创办的三江师范学堂，历经百年发展，形成了以工科为特色，理工农医文经管法艺教等多学科协调发展的学科体系。

Jiangsu University is a key comprehensive university located in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province. It is a university jointly built by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and one of the first batch of high-level universities in Jiangsu Province. The school's history can be traced back to Sanjiang Normal School founded in Nanjing in 1902 by Liu Kunyi, Zhang Zhidong, etc. After a century of development, it has formed a disciplinary system featuring engineering and coordinated development of multiple disciplines such as science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, literature, economics, management, law, arts, and education.

学校现有教职工5700余人，其中专任教师2700余人，拥有两院院士、长江学者、国家杰出青年科学基金获得者等国家级人才120余人次。设有27个学院，97个本科专业，拥有15个一级学科博士点，45个一级学科硕士点，21个硕士专业学位类别，建有国家重点学科1个，国家重点（培育）学科1个，省重点学科9个。

The university currently has more than 5,700 faculty members, including more than 2,700 full-time teachers, and has more than 120 national-level talents such as academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, Changjiang Scholars, and winners of the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund. It has 27 colleges, 97 undergraduate majors, 15 first-level discipline doctoral programs, 45 first-level discipline master programs, 21 master professional degree categories, 1 national key discipline, 1 national key (cultivation) discipline, and 9 provincial key disciplines.

学校坚持以学生为中心，深化教育教学改革，构建了“工程基础厚、专业能力强、综合素质高”的人才培养体系，荣获国家级教学成果奖11项。注重国际交流与合作，与53个国家和地区的170多所高校及科研机构建立了长期合作关系，留学生来自120多个国家，是教育部“来华留学示范基地”建设高校。
