The Autonomous University of Nuevo León (Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, UANL) is one of the oldest and largest public higher education institutions in Mexico. Founded in 1933, its main campus is located in Monterrey, the capital of Nuevo León state. The university has 7 campuses, offering 304 programs spanning high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels, including 31 dual-degree programs in collaboration with renowned international universities, with over 120,000 students enrolled.

UANL enjoys a strong reputation in engineering, medicine, and natural sciences. Its机电工程 and manufacturing engineering programs are EUR-ACE accredited, enabling graduates to practice in EU countries. The university features 27 research facilities, 438 full-time researchers, and 16 academic journals. In 2025, it ranked in the 1001-1200 range in the QS World University Rankings and 1522nd in the USNews rankings, standing among Mexico's top 5 universities.
