哈瓦那科技大学（Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas）位于古巴首都哈瓦那博耶罗（Boyeros）区，2002年作为古巴政府的“未来计划”项目应运而生，其目的是发展古巴的软件产业，为国家经济发展做出贡献。该校由原苏联军事基地改建而成，从改建到完工仅用了106天，首批2008名学生和300多名教师于2002年9月23日正式开课，首届毕业典礼在哈瓦那著名的卡尔马克斯剧院举行，菲德尔·卡斯特罗同志亲自参加。

University of Information Sciences (Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas) is located in the Boyeros district of Havana, the capital of Cuba. Established in 2002 as part of the Cuban government's "Future Plan" project, its purpose is to develop Cuba's software industry and contribute to the country's economic development. The university was converted from a former Soviet military base, taking only 106 days from renovation to completion. The first batch of 2008 students and over 300 teachers officially started classes on September 23, 2002, with the first graduation ceremony held at Havana's famous Karl Marx Theater, attended by Comrade Fidel Castro.

该校师生在其他国际国内研究机构的配合下，研制出新的Linux Nova操作系统，已逐渐应用到古巴社会的方方面面，目前正在进行软件的完善和应用性测试。作为古巴发展信息技术产业的重要基地，哈瓦那科技大学为国家培养了大量专业技术人才，在推动科技创新和数字化转型中发挥着关键作用。

In collaboration with other international and domestic research institutions, faculty and students of the university have developed the new Linux Nova operating system, which has gradually been applied in various aspects of Cuban society, and is currently undergoing software improvement and application testing. As an important base for Cuba's development of the information technology industry, the University of Information Sciences has trained a large number of professional and technical talents for the country, playing a key role in promoting technological innovation and digital transformation.
