Université de Lorraine is a renowned public comprehensive university in France, with roots dating back to 1572. It was established on January 1, 2012, through the merger of the University of Nancy 1, University of Nancy 2, University of Metz, and the National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine. Its main campuses are located in Nancy and Metz in the Lorraine region of northeastern France.
