The University of East London (UEL) was founded in 1892 and is a public comprehensive university with a long history in the UK. Located in East London, the university has two main campuses: Stratford and Docklands, both adjacent to central London, offering convenient transportation and rich cultural resources in the surrounding area. As one of the largest universities in terms of campus area in London, UEL is renowned for its practice-oriented teaching, diverse academic programs, and global academic perspective. UEL consists of six schools: the School of Architecture, Computing and Engineering; the School of Arts and Digital Industries; the School of Education and Communities; the School of Health, Sport and Bioscience; the Royal Docks School of Business and Law; and the School of Psychology. It offers over 100 undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs spanning fields such as art and design, engineering and technology, business and law, health sciences, psychology, and education. Notable disciplines include Psychology, Media Studies, Fashion Design, and History, which were rated "Excellent" in the Teaching Quality Assessment by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE). Additionally, 62% of its research outputs have been assessed as "world-leading" or "internationally excellent."
