马塔兰大学成立于1962年，是印度尼西亚西努沙登加拉省马塔兰市的综合性公立大学，隶属于印尼国民教育部。学校坐落于海滨城市，与旅游胜地巴厘岛隔海相望，校园环境优美。作为印尼知名高等学府，其愿景是2025年前发展为具有国际竞争力的研究型大学，2023年位列印尼最佳大学前20名，QS东南亚大学排名第127位。

Founded in 1962, the University of Mataram is a comprehensive public university in Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia, affiliated with the Indonesian Ministry of National Education. Located in a coastal city across from the tourist destination Bali, it boasts a beautiful campus. As a renowned Indonesian higher education institution, it aims to become an internationally competitive research university by 2025, ranking among Indonesia's top 20 universities in 2023 and 127th in the QS Southeast Asia University Rankings.

The university currently has 26,155 students and over 3,500 faculty and staff, with 9 colleges including the Faculty of Agriculture, Law, Engineering, and Medicine & Health Sciences, offering programs from undergraduate to master's levels. It specializes in engineering, science, humanities & social sciences, and medicine, with civil engineering, electrical engineering, and food technology being highly competitive disciplines domestically.
