武昌职业学院（Wuchang Polytechnic College）是经湖北省人民政府批准、教育部备案的全日制普通职业高等院校，是中国人民解放军陆军、海军、空军、火箭军、武警部队和军委国防动员部定向士官培养院校。学校位于武汉光谷腹地、汤逊湖畔，秉承“厚德强能、励志创新”的校训，形成了“育人为本，质量立校，特色强校，和谐兴校”的办学理念。

Wuchang Polytechnic College is a full-time ordinary vocational college approved by the Hubei Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. It is an institution for定向 training of non-commissioned officers for the Army, Navy, Air Force, Rocket Force, Armed Police Force and the National Defense Mobilization Department of the Central Military Commission. Located in the hinterland of Wuhan Optics Valley and by Tangxun Lake, the college adheres to the school motto of "Virtue and Ability, Aspiration and Innovation" and has formed the educational philosophy of "Education-oriented, Quality-based, Characteristic-strengthened, and Harmony-promoted".

根据2022年10月官网信息，学校占地面积861亩，设有士官学院、电子信息工程学院等11个教学单位，开设通信技术、学前教育、无人机等42个专业，涵盖电子信息、装备制造、教育与体育等7个专业大类。校内建有81个实训室和200余个校外实训基地，全日制在校生1.3万余人。

According to the official website information in October 2022, the college covers an area of 861 mu, with 11 teaching units including the Non-commissioned Officer College and the School of Electronic Information Engineering. It offers 42 majors such as Communication Technology, Preschool Education, and UAV Application Technology, covering 7 professional categories including electronic information, equipment manufacturing, education and sports. The college has 81 on-campus training rooms and more than 200 off-campus training bases, with over 13,000 full-time students.

学校前身是2002年创建的武汉光华信息技术职业学院，2005年更名为武汉语言文化职业学院，2012年定名为武昌职业学院。2018年被授予“湖北省国防教育基地”和“武汉市国防教育基地”，定向士官培养特色鲜明，已为部队输送8000余名专业技术骨干。

The college traces its roots to Wuhan Guanghua Information Technology Vocational College founded in 2002. It was renamed Wuhan Language and Culture Vocational College in 2005 and officially named Wuchang Polytechnic College in 2012. In 2018, it was awarded the "Hubei Provincial National Defense Education Base" and "Wuhan National Defense Education Base". With distinctive characteristics in定向 non-commissioned officer training, it has delivered over 8,000 professional and technical backbones to the military.
