潍坊环境工程职业学院是经山东省人民政府批准设立的高等职业院校，创建于2020年，是山东省唯一一所以服务生态文明建设和绿色发展为办学主导方向的全日制普通高等职业学校。学院位于山东省昌邑市，北临渤海莱州湾，东临潍河，处于黄河三角洲高效生态经济区与山东半岛蓝色经济区两大国家级战略的叠加地带，交通便利，济青高铁、潍莱高铁、济青高速等多条交通干线贯穿周边，形成了20分钟上高速、30分钟乘高铁、1小时乘飞机的陆空交通圈。

Weifang Vocational College of Environmental Engineering is a higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Shandong Province. Founded in 2020, it is the only full-time ordinary higher vocational school in Shandong Province with the main orientation of serving ecological civilization construction and green development. Located in Changyi City, Shandong Province, the college is adjacent to the Bohai Laizhou Bay in the north and the Weihe River in the east. It lies in the overlapping area of two national strategies: the Yellow River Delta Efficient Ecological Economic Zone and the Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone. With convenient transportation, multiple transportation trunk lines such as Jinan-Qingdao High-speed Railway, Weilai High-speed Railway and Jinan-Qingdao Expressway run through the surrounding area, forming a land-air transportation circle of reaching the expressway in 20 minutes, taking the high-speed railway in 30 minutes and taking a plane in 1 hour.

学院占地面积850亩，投资15亿元，建筑面积达28万平方米，建有教学楼、宿舍楼、实训楼、图书馆等完善的教学及生活设施，所有建筑均配备中央空调系统。学院按5G标准规划智慧校园，实现校园互联网、监控网、广播电视网三网融通，配备触控一体机黑板、视频及音响系统，满足远程教学和信息化教学需求。目前开设环境工程技术、环境监测技术、工业机器人技术、大数据技术等29个专业，建成33个专业实验室和实训车间，图书馆藏书12万册，电子图书20万册。

The college covers an area of 850 mu, with an investment of 1.5 billion yuan and a construction area of 280,000 square meters. It has complete teaching and living facilities such as teaching buildings, dormitory buildings, training buildings and libraries, all of which are equipped with central air-conditioning systems. The college plans a smart campus according to 5G standards, realizing the integration of campus Internet, monitoring network and radio and television network. It is equipped with touch-integrated machine blackboards, video and audio systems to meet the needs of distance teaching and information-based teaching. At present, it offers 29 majors such as Environmental Engineering Technology, Environmental Monitoring Technology, Industrial Robot Technology and Big Data Technology, has built 33 professional laboratories and training workshops, and the library has a collection of 120,000 paper books and 200,000 e-books.

学院坚持以立德树人为根本，秉承“创新、协调、绿色、开放、共享”的发展理念，以培养服务生态文明建设的大国工匠为目标，确立了“德能兼修、知行合一”的校训。现有全职专任教师335名，其中副高级以上职称56人，双师型教师72人，研究生259人，并聘请中国工程院刘韵洁院士担任学术委员会主任，引进14名博士为学科带头人。学院先后荣获“山东省产教融合示范学校”“全国生态文明教育特色学校”等荣誉称号。

Adhering to the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating people, the college upholds the development concept of "innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing", and aims to cultivate great craftsmen serving the construction of ecological civilization, establishing the school motto of "cultivating both morality and ability, integrating knowledge and practice". There are 335 full-time teachers, including 56 with senior professional titles or above, 72 double-qualified teachers and 259 postgraduates. Academician Liu Yunjie of the Chinese Academy of Engineering is invited to be the director of the academic committee, and 14 doctors are introduced as discipline leaders. The college has successively won honorary titles such as "Shandong Province Industry-Education Integration Demonstration School" and "National Ecological Civilization Education Characteristic School".
