潍坊理工学院是经国家教育部和山东省人民政府批准设立的全日制普通本科高校，创办于2005年。学校秉承“勤朴端勇、求是创新”的校训，秉持“文化优先、体育优先、全面发展”的办学理念，坚持“校企一体化，产学研用一体化”办学模式，以“全心全意为师生服务”为宗旨，着力培养健康体魄、健全人格、全面发展的应用型、复合型专业人才。

Weifang University of Technology is a full-time ordinary undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of Shandong Province, founded in 2005. Adhering to the school motto of "Diligence, Simplicity, Integrity, Courage, Seeking Truth and Innovation", the university upholds the educational philosophy of "Culture First, Sports First, All-round Development" and adheres to the school-running mode of "Integration of School and Enterprise, Integration of Production, Education, Research and Application". With the purpose of "serving teachers and students wholeheartedly", it strives to cultivate applied and compound professionals with healthy physique, sound personality and all-round development.

学校设有青州主校区和潍坊中心校区，总占地1600余亩，规划建筑面积70余万平方米。主校区位于国家历史文化名城青州市，被誉为“森林式校园”；中心校区坐落于潍坊市，与白浪河国家湿地公园融为一体，被誉为“公园里的大学”。学校现有13个二级学院，50个本科专业，42个专科专业，涵盖10大学科门类，全日制在校生30000余人，教职工1800余人。

The university has two campuses: the main campus in Qingzhou and the central campus in Weifang, covering a total area of more than 1,600 mu with a planned construction area of more than 700,000 square meters. The main campus is located in Qingzhou, a national historical and cultural city, known as the "forest-style campus"; the central campus is located in Weifang, integrated with the Bailang River National Wetland Park, known as the "university in the park". The university currently has 13 secondary colleges, 50 undergraduate majors, 42 junior college majors, covering 10 disciplines, with more than 30,000 full-time students and more than 1,800 faculty members.

学校高度重视高水平专业建设和产教融合，能源与动力工程、广播电视编导等专业入选山东省一流本科专业建设点。在绿色校园建设方面成效显著，2018至2022年连续5年上榜世界绿色大学排名，位列中国内地高校第一位，其中2019年和2020年位居亚洲高校第一位，致力于建设“潍坊最优秀，山东有地位，全国有影响的高水平应用型名牌大学”。

The university attaches great importance to high-level professional construction and the integration of industry and education. Majors such as Energy and Power Engineering, Radio and Television Directing have been selected as Shandong Provincial First-class Undergraduate Major Construction Sites. It has achieved remarkable results in green campus construction, ranking among the World Green University Rankings for five consecutive years from 2018 to 2022, ranking first among universities in mainland China, and ranking first among Asian universities in 2019 and 2020. It is committed to building "the most excellent, influential in Shandong and nationally renowned high-level application-oriented famous university in Weifang".
