潍坊职业学院是2001年7月经山东省人民政府批准组建的公办全日制普通高职院校，是全国优质专科高等职业院校、中国特色高水平高职学校和专业建设计划建设单位、全国乡村振兴人才培养优质校建设单位。现有奎文、滨海两个校区，总占地面积2000余亩，建筑面积70万平方米，教学科研仪器设备总值达3.1亿元，图书馆藏书188万册。

Weifang Vocational College is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Shandong Province in July 2001. It is a national high-quality higher vocational college, a construction unit of the "China特色高水平高职学校和专业建设计划" (China's High-level Vocational Schools and Professional Construction Plan), and a national high-quality school construction unit for rural revitalization talent training. It has two campuses, Kuiwen and Binhai, with a total area of more than 2,000 mu, a building area of 700,000 square meters, teaching and research equipment worth 310 million yuan, and a library collection of 1.88 million volumes.

学院设有10个全日制二级学院和多个跨专业教学机构，开设3+2对口贯通分段培养本科试点专业7个，三年制高职专业48个，涵盖农业、装备制造、食品药品、生物与化工、财经商贸、文化艺术等多个专业大类，建有中国特色高水平专业群1个、中央财政支持重点建设专业4个、国家级骨干专业9个、山东省高职教育高水平专业群5个。

The college has 10 full-time secondary colleges and multiple interdisciplinary teaching institutions. It offers 7 undergraduate pilot programs for 3+2 counterpart through-train segmented training and 48 three-year higher vocational programs, covering multiple professional categories such as agriculture, equipment manufacturing, food and pharmaceuticals, biology and chemical engineering, finance and commerce, culture and art. It has built 1 national-level high-level professional group with Chinese characteristics, 4 key construction majors supported by the central finance, 9 national-level backbone majors, and 5 high-level professional groups in Shandong higher vocational education.

学院师资力量雄厚，现有教职工1100余人，二级教授3人，硕、博士870余人，拥有国家级教学名师6人、教育部新时代职业学校名师名匠1人、全国行业类职业教育名师12人、山东省高等学校教学名师14人、山东省技术技能类名师17人，获评山东省教书育人楷模、省优秀共产党员、省先进工作者等模范教师20人，聘任发展顾问、产业教授等高技能人才280余人。

The college has a strong faculty, with more than 1,100 faculty members, including 3 second-level professors, more than 870 masters and doctors. It has 6 national-level teaching masters, 1 famous teacher and craftsman of the new era vocational schools of the Ministry of Education, 12 national industry vocational education famous teachers, 14 teaching masters of Shandong colleges and universities, 17 technical and skilled masters of Shandong Province. There are 20 model teachers such as Shandong Provincial Teaching and Educating Model, Provincial Excellent Communist Party Member, and Provincial Advanced Worker. More than 280 high-skilled talents such as development consultants and industrial professors are employed.

学院人才培养成果丰硕，4名学生被评为山东省高校十大优秀学生，全国职业院校技能大赛获奖108项（其中一等奖38项），山东省职业院校技能大赛获奖320项，省级以上一类创新创业类大赛获奖485项，其中挑战杯全国大学生课外学术科技作品竞赛获国赛特等奖，实现省内高职院校特等奖零的突破。

The college has achieved fruitful results in talent training. Four students have been rated as the top ten outstanding students in Shandong colleges and universities. It has won 108 awards in the National Vocational College Skills Competition (including 38 first prizes), 320 awards in the Shandong Vocational College Skills Competition, and 485 awards in provincial and above first-class innovation and entrepreneurship competitions. Among them, it won the national special prize in the "Challenge Cup" National College Students' Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition, achieving a breakthrough of zero special prizes for higher vocational colleges in the province.
