潍坊学院是教育部批准建立的一所山东省属全日制综合性普通本科高校，坐落在世界著名的风筝之都、国际和平城市、全国文明城市——山东潍坊。学校办学历史可追溯至1951年，2000年由潍坊高等专科学校与昌潍师范专科学校合并，并入山东渤海进修学院的有关教育资源组建而成，2024年获批硕士学位授予单位。

Weifang University is a full-time comprehensive ordinary undergraduate university affiliated to Shandong Province, approved by the Ministry of Education. It is located in Weifang, Shandong, a world-famous kite capital, an international city of peace, and a national civilized city. The university's educational history can be traced back to 1951. In 2000, it was established by merging Weifang Junior College and Changwei Teachers College, incorporating relevant educational resources from Shandong Bohai College. In 2024, it was approved as a master's degree-granting unit.

学校现有教职工1980人，其中专任教师1530人，高级职称教师640人，拥有博士学位人员705人，博士生、硕士生导师187人。设有26个教学单位，2025年本科招生专业61个，涉及理、工、文、经济、管理、农、法、历史、教育和艺术10大学科门类，拥有电子信息、机械、农业3个硕士专业学位授权点。面向全国29个省（自治区、直辖市）招生，现有全日制在校生2.6万余人、联合培养硕士研究生276人、国际学生70人。

The university currently has 1,980 faculty members, including 1,530 full-time teachers, 640 with senior professional titles, 705 with doctoral degrees, and 187 doctoral and master supervisors. It has 26 teaching units and 61 undergraduate programs for enrollment in 2025, covering 10 disciplines including science, engineering, liberal arts, economics, management, agriculture, law, history, education, and art. It also has 3 professional master's degree authorization points in electronic information, machinery, and agriculture. Enrolling students from 29 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government), it currently has over 26,000 full-time undergraduates, 276 jointly cultivated postgraduates, and 70 international students.

学校是省应用型人才培养特色名校立项建设单位、省应用型本科高校建设首批支持单位，拥有数学与应用数学、计算机科学与技术2个国家级特色专业，机械设计制造及其自动化1个教育部综合改革试点专业，山东省一流本科专业建设点13个。建有光纤传感与光电信息山东省工程技术研究中心、山东省先进动力装备智能制造技术重点实验室等65个市厅级以上科研创新平台，近年来主持承担国家自然科学基金、国家社科基金等国家级科研项目140余项。

As a key university for cultivating applied talents in Shandong Province and one of the first supported universities for applied undergraduate construction in the province, it has 2 national characteristic majors (Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Computer Science and Technology), 1 comprehensive reform pilot major of the Ministry of Education (Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation), and 13 first-class undergraduate major construction sites in Shandong Province. It has 65 municipal-level or above scientific research innovation platforms, such as Shandong Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center for Optical Fiber Sensing and Optoelectronic Information, and Shandong Provincial Key Laboratory of Advanced Power Equipment Intelligent Manufacturing Technology. In recent years, it has undertaken more than 140 national-level scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation and the National Social Science Foundation.

学校坚持以服务社会为己任，深入推进产教融合协同育人，与潍柴、歌尔、天瑞重工等行业领军企业共建现代产业学院9个，其中获批省级现代产业学院4个、工信部专精特新产业学院1个。办学74年来，累计为社会培养各类专门人才38万余人，2024年用人单位对毕业生和人才培养满意度均达99.5%。

Adhering to the mission of serving society, the university deeply promotes industry-education integration and collaborative education. It has jointly established 9 modern industrial colleges with leading enterprises such as Weichai, Goertek, and Tianrui Heavy Industry, including 4 provincial-level modern industrial colleges and 1 specialized and sophisticated industrial college of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Over the 74 years of its establishment, it has cultivated more than 380,000 various professionals for society, and in 2024, the satisfaction of employers with graduates and talent training reached 99.5%.
