武汉光谷职业学院是经湖北省人民政府批准、教育部备案的全日制普通高等职业学院，是响应湖北省推进“互联网+”战略、服务光谷高新产业群成立的全国唯一以“光谷”命名的高等院校。学校地处中国光谷腹地，位于汤逊湖之滨、藏龙岛国家湿地公园之畔，周边环绕武汉纺织大学、湖北美术学院等高校及科研院所，科技与人文资源丰富。

Wuhan Optical Valley Vocational College is a full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the Hubei Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. It is the only higher education institution named after "Optical Valley" in China, established in response to Hubei Province's "Internet +" strategy to serve the high-tech industrial cluster in Optical Valley. Located in the hinterland of China's Optical Valley, by the banks of Tangxun Lake and beside the Canglongdao National Wetland Park, the school is surrounded by universities and research institutions such as Wuhan Textile University and Hubei Institute of Fine Arts, boasting rich scientific, technological and cultural resources.

学校下设互联网+学院、智能制造学院等8个二级学院，开设32个专业，涵盖理、工、经、管、教育、艺术等门类。教学设施完善，拥有1个国家职业技能鉴定所、40余个校内实训室和110多个校外实习基地，配备图书馆、标准化运动场馆及四人间带电梯宿舍，为学生提供优质学习生活环境。

The college has 8 secondary colleges including the Internet + College and the Intelligent Manufacturing College, offering 32 majors covering science, engineering, economics, management, education, art and other disciplines. With complete teaching facilities, it has 1 national vocational skill appraisal institute, more than 40 on-campus training rooms and over 110 off-campus internship bases. The campus is equipped with a library, standardized sports venues and four-person dormitories with elevators, providing an excellent learning and living environment for students.
