武汉航海职业技术学院隶属于招商局集团旗下的中国长江航运集团有限公司，是经湖北省政府批准、教育部备案、国家海事局认定的高等职业院校，创办于1955年，1999年成为首批试办高等职业技术教育的院校之一，并设立中国长航国际海员培训中心。学校先后荣获国家技能人才培育突出贡献奖、全国职工教育培训优秀示范点等多项荣誉，以航海技术、轮机工程技术等专业为特色，构建了覆盖航海、船舶、物流、旅游等领域的15个专业体系，拥有21个校内实验室和10多个校外实训基地，实施半军事化管理和订单式培养模式，近五年毕业生就业率保持在90%以上。

Wuhan Maritime Vocational and Technical College is affiliated to China Changjiang Shipping Group Co., Ltd. under China Merchants Group. Approved by the Hubei Provincial Government, registered with the Ministry of Education, and recognized by the National Maritime Safety Administration, it was founded in 1955 and became one of the first institutions to pilot higher vocational and technical education in 1999, with the establishment of China Changjiang Shipping International Seafarer Training Center in the same year. The college has successively won honors such as the National Outstanding Contribution Award for Skilled Talents Cultivation and National Excellent Demonstration Site for Staff Education and Training. Featuring specialties like Navigation Technology and Marine Engineering Technology, it has built a system of 15 majors covering maritime, shipbuilding, logistics, tourism and other fields, with 21 on-campus laboratories and over 10 off-campus training bases. Implementing semi-military management and order-based training, its graduate employment rate has remained above 90% in the past five years.

学校紧密对接航海、船舶制造、新能源汽车、高端旅游等行业发展需求，重点建设轮机工程技术、港口与航运管理、船舶工程技术三个中央财政支持专业，以及航海技术、轮机工程技术两个省级试点改革专业，《航海学》《海上酒店基础》等课程获评省级精品课程。依托招商局集团产业链资源，与多家航运企业、船厂建立校企合作关系，配备大型船舶操纵模拟器、GMDSS模拟器等先进教学设备，构建了“教学-实习-就业”一体化培养体系，培养了大批符合国际海事公约标准的高素质技术技能人才。

Closely aligned with the development needs of industries such as maritime navigation, shipbuilding, new energy vehicles, and high-end tourism, the college focuses on three central finance-supported majors: Marine Engineering Technology, Port and Shipping Management, and Ship Engineering Technology, as well as two provincial pilot reform majors: Navigation Technology and Marine Engineering Technology. Courses like "Navigation Science" and "Basic Seamanship Hotel" have been awarded provincial excellent courses. Relying on the industrial chain resources of China Merchants Group, it has established school-enterprise cooperation with multiple shipping companies and shipyards, equipped with advanced teaching facilities such as large-scale ship handling simulators and GMDSS simulators, and built an integrated "teaching-practice-employment" training system, cultivating a large number of high-quality technical talents meeting the standards of international maritime conventions.
