武汉外语外事职业学院于2002年经湖北省人民政府批准成立，并经国家教育部备案，是我国中部地区一所专门培养具有外语特长的高素质技术技能型人才的普通高等职业院校，已形成以“专业技能+外语特长+AI基础”的人才培养架构。学校现有在校生12663人，开设48个专业、10个专业群，涵盖教育与语言、交通运输、医药卫生等12个专业大类，其中高速铁路客运服务专业为湖北省品牌专业，多语种跨境贸易专业群获批省级高水平专业群。

Wuhan College of Foreign Languages and International Relations was founded in 2002 with the approval of the Hubei Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. It is a public higher vocational college in central China specializing in cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents with foreign language proficiency. The college has developed a talent cultivation framework of "professional skills + foreign language proficiency + AI foundation". Currently, it has 12,663 students, offering 48 majors and 10 professional groups covering 12 major categories such as education and language, transportation, and medicine and health. Among them, the High-Speed Railway Passenger Service program is a brand major in Hubei Province, and the Multilingual Cross-border Trade professional group has been approved as a provincial high-level professional group.

学校坐落于武汉市江夏区藏龙岛科技园，坐拥6000亩国家湿地公园，校园占地610余亩，建筑面积35.66万平方米，教学仪器设备总值7904.88万元，图书馆馆藏纸质图书97.52万册。现有专任教师379人，其中硕士以上学位教师占88.4%，拥有11位楚天技能名师及2个省级技能名师工作室，与10多个国家建立国际交流合作关系，引进外教11名，凸显“外”字办学特色。

The college is located in Canglongdao Science and Technology Park, Jiangxia District, Wuhan, adjacent to a 6,000-acre national wetland park. The campus covers an area of over 610 mu with a building area of 356,600 square meters. The total value of teaching equipment is 79.0488 million yuan, and the library has 975,200 paper books. There are 379 full-time teachers, among whom 88.4% have master's degrees or above. The college boasts 11 Chutian Skilled Teachers and 2 provincial-level skilled teacher studios. It has established international exchange and cooperation relations with more than 10 countries and introduced 11 foreign teachers, highlighting the "foreign-oriented" school-running characteristic.

学校注重专业内涵建设，高速铁路客运服务、护理专业入围GD高职专科专业评估榜A级，相关教学成果获湖北省教学成果奖三等奖2项，牵头制订埃塞俄比亚、老挝国家职业标准2项。学生在“外研社·国才杯”“蓝桥杯”等赛事中屡获国家级奖项，毕业生就业率连续多年位居全省同类院校前列，是湖北省跨境电子商务综合试验区职教集团理事长单位。

The college focuses on professional connotation construction. Its High-Speed Railway Passenger Service and Nursing programs have entered Grade A in the GD Higher Vocational College Professional Evaluation. Related teaching achievements have won two third prizes in Hubei Provincial Teaching Achievement Awards. The college has led the formulation of 2 national vocational standards for Ethiopia and Laos. Students have won numerous national awards in competitions such as "Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press · Guocai Cup" and "Lanqiao Cup". The employment rate of graduates has ranked among the top of similar colleges in the province for many years. It is the chairman unit of the Vocational Education Group of Hubei Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone.
