乌鲁木齐职业技术学院是经教育部备案、由乌鲁木齐市人民政府举办和管理的全日制公办普通高等职业院校，前身为创建于1982年的乌鲁木齐技师学院，2024年5月正式挂牌成立。学院以高等职业教育为主，兼顾中等职业教育、技工教育及职业技能培训，形成集多层次、多功能于一体的综合性职业教育体系。

Urumqi Vocational Technical College is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the Ministry of Education and managed by the Urumqi Municipal People's Government. Its predecessor was Urumqi Technician College founded in 1982, and it was officially established in May 2024. The college focuses on higher vocational education, while also offering secondary vocational education, technical education, and vocational skills training, forming a comprehensive vocational education system integrating multiple levels and functions.

学院现有安宁渠和太原路两个校区，占地近240亩，设有机电技术应用、工业机器人应用与维护、计算机网络技术等25个专业，拥有114间专业实训室和3365个实训工位。师资力量雄厚，双师型教师占专业课教师的60.76%，培育出全国青年岗位能手、自治区天山英才教育领军人才等优秀教师，建有2个自治区级技能大师工作室。

The college has two campuses, Anningqu and Taiyuan Road, covering nearly 240 mu. It offers 25 majors including Mechanical and Electrical Technology Application, Industrial Robot Application and Maintenance, and Computer Network Technology, with 114 professional training rooms and 3365 training stations. The faculty is strong, with dual-qualified teachers accounting for 60.76% of professional course teachers. It has cultivated outstanding teachers such as national young post experts and autonomous region Tian Shan Yingcai education leading talents, and has built 2 autonomous region-level skill master studios.

作为国家级重点技工学校、国家高技能人才培训基地及教育部1+X证书试点学校，学院先后荣获自治区优质中等职业学校、德育达标校等称号，致力于为地方经济社会发展培养高素质技术技能人才，形成了以职业能力为本位、产教融合为特色的办学模式。
