武威职业技术大学是2025年经教育部批准设立的公办本科层次职业学校，前身为始建于1915年的武威师范学校，2003年升格为武威职业学院，2025年正式升格为职业技术大学。学校位于中国旅游标志“马踏飞燕”出土地甘肃省武威市，是中国科学院上海应用物理研究所联合办学单位，秉承“厚德长技、守正创新”校训，致力于培养高层次技术技能人才。

Wuwei Vocational and Technical University is a public undergraduate vocational school approved by the Ministry of Education in 2025. Its predecessor was Wuwei Normal School founded in 1915, which was upgraded to Wuwei Vocational College in 2003 and officially升格为 to a vocational and technical university in 2025. Located in Wuwei City, Gansu Province, the birthplace of the Chinese tourism symbol "Galloping Horse Treading on a Flying Swallow", the university is a joint educational institution with the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, adhering to the motto of "Virtue and Skills, Upholding Integrity and Innovation" and dedicated to cultivating high-level technical and skilled talents.

学校占地面积1770.25亩，建筑面积43.18万平方米，固定资产总值12.67亿元，教学科研仪器设备总值1.268亿元，图书123.54万册。现有全日制在校生11034人，专任教师668人，其中硕士及以上学位教师占58.53%，高级职称教师占36.68%，双师型教师占专业课教师64.38%。设有13个教学单位，开设本科专业3个、专科专业47个，形成清洁能源、医疗康养、现代农业等8个特色专业集群，拥有国家级重点骨干专业8个、省级高水平专业群2个。

The university covers an area of 1770.25 mu (including 680 mu of productive training bases), with a building area of 431,800 square meters. Its fixed assets total 1.267 billion yuan, teaching and research equipment is worth 126.8 million yuan, and the library has 1.2354 million books. Currently, there are 11,034 full-time students and 668 full-time teachers, among whom 58.53% have master's degrees or above, 36.68% have senior professional titles, and 64.38% of professional course teachers are "double-qualified" teachers. The university has 13 teaching units, offering 3 undergraduate programs and 47 junior college programs, forming 8 characteristic professional clusters such as clean energy, medical and health care, and modern agriculture, with 8 national key backbone majors and 2 provincial high-level professional groups.

学校先后建成国家骨干高职院校、省级“双高校”，荣获全国绿化模范单位、甘肃省文明校园等称号，获批甘肃省创新创业教育改革示范高校、大学生就业工作示范性高校。与196家单位开展校企合作，建有135个校内实验实训室和167个校外实训基地，与中科院共建中科低碳新能源技术学院，累计培养高技能人才5万余名，毕业生去向落实率连续多年保持在95%以上，为区域经济社会发展提供了有力人才支撑。

The university has successively become a national backbone higher vocational college and a provincial "double-high plan" college, and has been awarded titles such as National Afforestation Model Unit and Gansu Provincial Civilized Campus. It has been approved as a Gansu Provincial Model University for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform and a Model University for College Students' Employment Work. Cooperating with 196 enterprises and institutions, it has built 135 on-campus laboratories and training rooms and 167 off-campus training bases, and jointly established the中科 Low-Carbon New Energy Technology College with the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It has trained more than 50,000 high-skilled talents, with the employment rate of graduates remaining above 95% for many years, providing strong talent support for regional economic and social development.
