西安外事学院创建于1992年，是国家教育部批准成立的普通本科院校。学校立足陕西、服务中西部、面向全国、辐射"一带一路"，建设特色鲜明的国际化、应用型、综合性、高水平民办大学。学校坐落于西安高新区腹地，被上千家高新企业环抱，就业创业直通名企，产学研优势突出。

Xi'an International University was founded in 1992 and is a regular undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education of China. Based in Shaanxi, serving the central and western regions, facing the whole country, and radiating the "Belt and Road", the university is committed to building a distinctive international, application-oriented, comprehensive and high-level private university. Located in the hinterland of Xi'an High-tech Zone, the university is surrounded by thousands of high-tech enterprises, providing direct access to famous enterprises for employment and entrepreneurship, with prominent advantages in industry-university-research integration.

学校开设44个本科专业，形成了以文学、艺术、教育、管理、经济、工学、医学、农学等多学科协调发展的学科专业体系。在校学生2万余名，教职工近2000人。学校先后入选教育部首批"全国党建工作示范高校"、首批"'一站式'学生社区综合管理模式建设试点高校"、首批"全国创新创业典型经验高校"等，其发展模式被哈佛大学商学院列为教学案例。

The university offers 44 undergraduate majors, forming a disciplinary professional system with coordinated development of multiple disciplines such as literature, art, education, management, economics, engineering, medicine, and agriculture. There are more than 20,000 students and nearly 2,000 faculty members. The university has been successively selected into the first batch of "National Model Universities for Party Building Work", the first batch of "Pilot Universities for the Construction of 'One-stop' Student Community Comprehensive Management Model", and the first batch of "National Typical Experience Universities for Innovation and Entrepreneurship" by the Ministry of Education, and its development model has been listed as a teaching case by Harvard Business School.
