许昌学院是一所位于河南省许昌市的省属普通本科院校，学校前身是创建于1942年的河南省第五行政区联立师范学校，历经多次调整与发展，2002年升格为本科院校并更名为许昌学院。学校以培养应用型人才为目标，涵盖文、理、工、经、管、法、教、艺等多个学科领域，形成了多学科协调发展的办学格局。

Xuchang University is a provincial public undergraduate university located in Xuchang City, Henan Province. Its predecessor was the Fifth Administrative Region United Normal School of Henan Province founded in 1942. After several adjustments and developments, it was upgraded to an undergraduate institution in 2002 and renamed Xuchang University. Aiming to cultivate applied talents, the university covers multiple disciplines such as arts, science, engineering, economics, management, law, education, and art, forming a pattern of coordinated development of multiple disciplines.

学校现有两个校区，总占地面积1700余亩，教学科研仪器设备总值近3亿元，馆藏纸质图书210万余册。设有23个教学院部，58个本科专业，拥有国家级一流本科专业建设点10个，省级一流本科专业建设点21个，全日制在校生2.6万余人。

The university currently has two campuses, covering a total area of over 1,700 mu. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is nearly 300 million yuan, and the collection of paper books exceeds 2.1 million. It has 23 teaching colleges and departments, offering 58 undergraduate programs, including 10 national first-class undergraduate program construction sites and 21 provincial first-class undergraduate program construction sites, with more than 26,000 full-time students.

近年来，许昌学院坚持“质量立校、人才强校、特色兴校”的办学理念，积极推进产教融合、校企合作，与地方政府、企业共建了多个产业学院和科研平台，在智能制造、新材料、电子商务等领域形成了鲜明的办学特色，为区域经济社会发展培养了大批高素质应用型人才。
