星海音乐学院位于广东省广州市，是华南地区唯一一所高等音乐专业学府，其前身可追溯至1957年创办的广州音乐学校。学校以人民音乐家冼星海的名字命名，始终秉承“求真、尚美、崇德、敬业”的校训，致力于培养高素质音乐与舞蹈专业人才，在国内外音乐教育领域享有较高声誉。

Xinghai Conservatory of Music is located in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. It is the only higher music institution in South China, whose predecessor can be traced back to the Guangzhou Music School founded in 1957. Named after the renowned people's musician Xian Xinghai, the conservatory has always adhered to the motto of "Seeking Truth, Appreciating Beauty, Upholding Virtue, and Devoting to Profession", dedicated to cultivating high-quality professionals in music and dance, and enjoys a high reputation in the field of music education both at home and abroad.

学校设有作曲系、音乐学系、钢琴系、管弦系、民乐系等多个教学单位，涵盖音乐表演、音乐学、作曲与作曲技术理论、舞蹈表演等本科专业，并拥有音乐与舞蹈学一级学科硕士学位授予权。校园内设施先进，包括现代化音乐厅、录音棚、演奏厅及丰富的乐器资源，为师生提供了优良的教学与实践环境。

The conservatory has multiple teaching units such as the Composition Department, Musicology Department, Piano Department, Orchestral Department, and Chinese Traditional Music Department, covering undergraduate majors such as Music Performance, Musicology, Composition and Composition Technology Theory, and Dance Performance. It also has the right to grant master's degrees in the first-level discipline of Music and Dance. The campus is equipped with advanced facilities, including modern concert halls, recording studios, performance halls, and abundant musical instrument resources, providing an excellent teaching and practice environment for teachers and students.

作为中国音乐教育的重要基地，星海音乐学院积极开展国内外学术交流与艺术合作，定期举办各类音乐会、学术讲座和艺术实践活动，培养了大批优秀音乐人才，在国内外音乐比赛中屡获佳绩，为中国音乐事业的发展作出了重要贡献。
