宣化科技职业学院是国家教育部备案的全日制公办普通高等职业院校，始建于1917年，初名直隶第五师范学校，2007年更名为宣化科技职业学院，是一所有着百余年办学历史的学府。学院占地410亩，分东、西两个校区，设有学前教育学院、航空铁道学院、新能源学院、文化传媒学院、管理工程系、信息工程系、马克思主义学院、体育教学部、继续教育学院等9个教学单位，开设招生专业40余个，覆盖教育、建筑、管理、信息、机电、能源、交通、艺术、体育等九大学科门类，在校生达15000余名，形成了包含高职教育、师范教育、继续教育在内的多学科、多层次、多形式的办学格局，是环首都经济圈重要的人才培养基地。

Xuanhua Vocational College of Science and Technology is a full-time public higher vocational college registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. Founded in 1917 as Zhili Fifth Normal School, it was renamed Xuanhua Vocational College of Science and Technology in 2007, boasting a history of over a century in running schools. Covering an area of 410 mu with east and west campuses, the college comprises 9 teaching units including the School of Preschool Education, School of Aviation and Railway, School of New Energy, School of Culture and Media, Department of Management Engineering, Department of Information Engineering, School of Marxism, Department of Physical Education, and School of Continuing Education. It offers more than 40 enrollment majors spanning nine disciplines such as education, architecture, management, information technology, electromechanics, energy, transportation, art, and physical education, with over 15,000 students. It has formed a multi-disciplinary, multi-level, and multi-form school-running pattern including higher vocational education, normal education, and continuing education, serving as an important talent training base in the Capital Economic Circle.

学院现有教职工472人，其中硕士教师157人，教授36人、副高以上职称103人。学院先后获评全国绿化模范单位、河北省园林式单位、河北省“双高”校建设单位、河北省“民族文化传承与创新专业示范点”等荣誉称号，建有智能机器人技术、智能网联汽车技术、风力发电工程技术等12个专业群，面向全国11个省招生，致力于培养适应区域经济社会发展需要的高素质技术技能人才。

The college has 472 faculty members, including 157 with master's degrees, 36 professors, and 103 with associate senior titles or above. It has successively been awarded honors such as National Model Unit for Afforestation, Hebei Provincial Garden-style Unit, Hebei Provincial "Double High-Level" College Construction Unit, and Hebei Provincial "Demonstration Site for Ethnic Culture Inheritance and Innovation". It has established 12 professional groups including intelligent robot technology, intelligent connected vehicle technology, and wind power engineering technology, enrolling students from 11 provinces across the country and committed to cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents to meet the needs of regional economic and social development.
