西安工商学院是经教育部批准设立、具有学士学位授予权的本科层次民办普通高等学校，前身为西安工业大学北方信息工程学院，2020年3月正式转设为独立设置的民办本科高校。学校坐落于历史文化名城西安，位于八水绕长安的渭水之滨高陵区，毗邻泾渭分明历史文化景区，地铁十号线直达校区，交通便利，四十余分钟可达西安市中心、咸阳国际机场及西安北站。

Xi'an Technology and Business University is a private undergraduate higher education institution approved by the Ministry of Education with the right to grant bachelor's degrees. Formerly known as the North Institute of Information Engineering of Xi'an Technological University, it was officially transformed into an independent private undergraduate university in March 2020. Located in Gaoling District on the banks of the Weihe River in the historical and cultural city of Xi'an, adjacent to the "Jingwei Fenming" historical and cultural scenic area, the university is easily accessible via Metro Line 10, with a travel time of over 40 minutes to downtown Xi'an, Xi'an Xianyang International Airport, and Xi'an North Railway Station.

It currently has 11 secondary colleges including the School of Information Engineering, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and School of Economics and Management, offering 21 undergraduate programs and 13 higher vocational (junior college) programs, with over 12,000 students.
