厦门工学院坐落于福建省厦门市集美区，是2009年经教育部批准设立的全日制民办普通本科高校，2019年通过教育部本科教学工作合格评估。学校以“明志，博学，修身，力行”为校训，校园环境优美，四季常青，被誉为“全国最美校园”之一。

Xiamen Institute of Technology is located in Jimei District, Xiamen City, Fujian Province. It is a full-time private ordinary undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education in 2009 and passed the undergraduate teaching qualification assessment of the Ministry of Education in 2019. With the school motto of "Aspiration, Erudition, Self-cultivation, and Practice", the university boasts a beautiful campus with evergreen trees all year round and is known as one of the "most beautiful campuses in China".

截至2023年，学校设有机械电气与信息工程学院、建筑科学与土木工程学院等6个本科生学院，开设38个本科专业，涵盖工学、理学、经济学、管理学、文学、艺术学六大学科门类，全日制在校生一万余人。近年来，学校大力推进产教融合，与华为等企业共建人工智能产业学院，形成“基础理论-场景实践-项目实战”的教学闭环，培养应用型复合型人才。

As of 2023, the university has 6 undergraduate colleges, including the College of Mechanical, Electrical and Information Engineering and the College of Architectural Science and Civil Engineering, offering 38 undergraduate majors covering six disciplines: engineering, science, economics, management, literature, and art, with over 10,000 full-time students. In recent years, the university has vigorously promoted industry-education integration, co-established the Artificial Intelligence Industry College with enterprises such as Huawei, forming a teaching closed-loop of "basic theory - scenario practice - project actual combat" to cultivate applied and compound talents.
