新疆和田学院是由新疆维吾尔自治区人民政府举办的公办全日制普通本科学校，2024年5月经教育部批准，以和田师范专科学校（始建于1938年）和新疆维吾尔医学专科学校（创办于1984年）为基础合并组建。学校坐落于新疆和田地区，是教育部师范教育协同提质计划支持院校，由西南大学牵头组团支援，同时接受北京、天津、安徽等省市多所高校对口帮扶。

Xinjiang Hetian College is a public full-time ordinary undergraduate institution founded by the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Approved by the Ministry of Education in May 2024, it was established through the merger of Hetian Normal College (founded in 1938) and Xinjiang Uygur Medical College (founded in 1984). Located in Hetian Prefecture, Xinjiang, the university is supported by the Ministry of Education's Teacher Education Collaborative Quality Improvement Program, with Southwest University leading a consortium of supporting institutions, and also receives counterpart assistance from multiple universities in Beijing, Tianjin, Anhui and other provinces and cities.

学校占地2788.34亩，现有在校生16300余名，教职工1250人，其中专任教师920人，副高及以上职称教师199人，硕士及以上学历教师456人（含博士110人）。开设38个专业，涵盖法学、教育学、工学、医学等学科领域，拥有1个教育部重点研究基地、1个自治区级重点实验室及25个省地两级研究平台，是第三批国家语言文字推广基地、国家级非物质文化遗产保护单位。

Covering an area of 2788.34 mu, the university has over 16,300 students and 1,250 faculty members, including 920 full-time teachers, 199 with associate senior titles or above, and 456 with master's or higher degrees (including 110 doctors). It offers 38 majors covering law, education, engineering, medicine and other disciplines, and has 1 key research base of the Ministry of Education, 1 autonomous region-level key laboratory and 25 provincial and prefectural research platforms. It is a national language promotion base (third batch) and a national intangible cultural heritage protection unit.
