新疆科技学院是一所全日制普通本科高等学校，由新疆维吾尔自治区人民政府直属管理，坐落在素有“塞外明珠·山水梨城”之称的新疆库尔勒市。学校坚持“特色、开放、包容、求实、创新”办学理念，紧贴区域经济社会高质量发展的人才需求，着力打造财经类、工科类、医学类三大主干学科专业群，深化“优文科、扩工科、兴医科”建设，形成工管结合、医管结合、医工结合多学科交叉融合的特色学科专业布局。

Xinjiang University of Science and Technology is a full-time ordinary undergraduate institution directly administered by the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is located in Korla City, Xinjiang, known as the "Pearl Beyond the Great Wall · Landscape Pear City". Adhering to the school-running philosophy of "Characteristics, Openness, Inclusiveness, Practicality, and Innovation", the university closely meets the talent needs of high-quality regional economic and social development, focuses on building three main discipline clusters of finance and economics, engineering, and medicine, deepens the construction of "optimizing liberal arts, expanding engineering, and developing medical sciences", and forms a distinctive interdisciplinary professional layout integrating engineering and management, medical and management, and medical and engineering.

学校始建于2002年，建校20多年来，连续培养了20届本科毕业生，为新疆经济社会发展输送大批高素质人才。目前，全校全日制本科在校生1.7万余人，专任教师780名，其中正高级职称65名，副高级职称54名，中级职称480名，95.26%的专任教师具有硕士研究生及以上学位。学校有两个校区，总占地面积2838.29亩，建筑面积55.79万平方米，其中：金河校区位于库尔勒经济技术开发区金河路360号，占地面积1986.45亩，建筑面积21万平方米；鸿雁校区位于库尔勒市鸿雁新区北京路89号，占地面积851.84亩，建筑面积34.79万平方米。

Founded in 2002, the university has trained 20 consecutive classes of undergraduate graduates over the past 20 years, delivering a large number of high-quality talents for Xinjiang's economic and social development. Currently, there are over 17,000 full-time undergraduate students and 780 full-time teachers, including 65 with senior professional titles, 54 with associate senior professional titles, and 480 with intermediate professional titles. 95.26% of the full-time teachers hold master's degrees or above. The university has two campuses with a total area of 2,838.29 mu and a building area of 557,900 square meters. The Jinhe Campus is located at No. 360 Jinhe Road, Korla Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering an area of 1,986.45 mu with a building area of 210,000 square meters; the Hongyan Campus is located at No. 89 Beijing Road, Hongyan New District, Korla City, covering an area of 851.84 mu with a building area of 347,900 square meters.

学校现已开设会计学、工程审计、旅游管理、人力资源管理、法学、化学工程与工艺、纺织工程、计算机科学与技术、护理学、人工智能、大数据管理与应用等35个本科专业（其中2025年4月获批增设6个专业），涵盖经济学、管理学、工学、医学、文学、法学6个学科门类，拥有会计学、财务管理2个国家级一流本科专业建设点，金融学、人力资源管理2个省级一流本科专业建设点，《会计学》1个国家级一流课程，《金融学》《电子商务运营实践》等7个省级一流课程。

The university now offers 35 undergraduate majors (including 6 majors approved in April 2025), such as Accounting, Engineering Audit, Tourism Management, Human Resource Management, Law, Chemical Engineering and Technology, Textile Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Nursing, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data Management and Application, covering 6 disciplines including economics, management, engineering, medicine, literature, and law. It has 2 national-level first-class undergraduate major construction sites (Accounting, Financial Management), 2 provincial-level first-class undergraduate major construction sites (Finance, Human Resource Management), 1 national-level first-class course (Accounting), and 7 provincial-level first-class courses such as Finance and E-commerce Operation Practice.

Closely following the major strategic needs of the country and the autonomous region, the university continuously promotes the construction of teaching and research platforms. It currently has 4 provincial-level teaching and research platforms: the Southern Xinjiang Digital Economy and High-Quality Development Research Center, the Industry-Education Integration and New Business Development Research Center, the Digital Intelligent Economy and Management Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center, and the Health Care Professional Cluster Experimental Teaching Center; as well as university-level research platforms such as the Institute for Strengthening the Sense of Community for the Chinese Nation, the Institute of Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture, the Functional Fiber Materials Research Center, and the Malan Spirit Education and Research Center.
