西安交通大学城市学院成立于2004年，是经国家教育部批准、由西安交通大学和西安博通资讯股份有限公司共同举办的全日制普通本科独立学院。学院依托西安交通大学百年名校优质的学科资源、雄厚的师资力量和先进的管理经验，以培养高素质应用型人才为目标，坚持立德树人根本任务，注重学生创新精神和实践能力的培养。

Xi'an Jiaotong University City College was founded in 2004. It is a full-time ordinary undergraduate independent college approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and co-sponsored by Xi'an Jiaotong University and Xi'an BroadInfo Technology Co., Ltd. Relying on the high-quality discipline resources, strong faculty and advanced management experience of Xi'an Jiaotong University, a century-old prestigious university, the college aims to cultivate high-quality applied talents, adheres to the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, and focuses on cultivating students' innovative spirit and practical ability.

学院设有电气与信息工程系、计算机系、机械工程系、经济系、管理系、外语系、艺术系、护理系等8个系，开设了涵盖工、管、文、经、艺、医等多个学科门类的30余个本科专业。学院始终坚持以教学为中心，不断深化教育教学改革，加强师资队伍建设，优化人才培养方案，积极开展校企合作，为学生提供了广阔的实践平台和发展空间。

The college has 8 departments including the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering, Department of Computer Science, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Economics, Department of Management, Department of Foreign Languages, Department of Art, and Department of Nursing, offering more than 30 undergraduate majors covering engineering, management, liberal arts, economics, art, medicine and other disciplines. The college always adheres to teaching as the center, continuously deepens education and teaching reform, strengthens the construction of teaching staff, optimizes talent training programs, actively carries out school-enterprise cooperation, and provides students with a broad practice platform and development space.
