厦门演艺职业学院创办于2002年，是经福建省人民政府批准、教育部备案的全日制普通高等职业院校，坐落于国际旅游城市厦门。学校以“礼乐成人，有教无类”为办学理念，现设有音乐系、舞蹈系、戏剧与音乐剧系等12个教学院系，开设音乐表演、舞蹈表演、影视编导等20多个专业，形成了覆盖艺术表演、文化创意、现代服务等领域的专业体系。

Xiamen Vocational College of Performing Arts, founded in 2002, is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the Fujian Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Located in Xiamen, an international tourist city, the college adheres to the educational philosophy of "Cultivating People with Rituals and Music, Education for All Without Discrimination". It now has 12 teaching departments including the Department of Music, Department of Dance, Department of Drama and Musical Theatre, offering over 20 majors such as Music Performance, Dance Performance, and Film and Television Directing, forming a professional system covering art performance, cultural creativity, and modern services.

学校师资力量雄厚，300余名专兼职教师多来自中央音乐学院、北京舞蹈学院等知名院校。教学设施完善，拥有近万平方米舞蹈实训室、1400座实验剧场及元宇宙电影产业学院等现代化教学平台。师生先后参与《伟大征程》《亚洲残疾人运动会开幕式》等国家级重大演出，荣获“中国特色教育示范基地”“全国创新教育示范单位”等荣誉称号。

The college boasts a strong faculty of over 300 full-time and part-time teachers, mostly from renowned institutions such as the Central Conservatory of Music and Beijing Dance Academy. It has well-equipped teaching facilities, including nearly 10,000 square meters of dance training rooms, a 1,400-seat experimental theater, and modern teaching platforms like the Metaverse Film Industry College. Teachers and students have participated in major national performances such as "The Great Journey" and the "Opening Ceremony of the Asian Paralympic Games", and the college has been awarded honors such as "China Characteristic Education Demonstration Base" and "National Innovative Education Demonstration Unit".
