湘潭科技职业学院是2024年经湖南省人民政府批准、教育部备案的全日制公办高等职业院校，位于伟人故里——湖南湘潭市北二环大学城，与湘潭技师学院合并办学。学院占地面积508亩，总建筑面积12.36万平方米，配备教学楼、实训楼、图书馆等教学设施及田径运动场等配套场地，教学仪器设备5000多台，图书藏量25万余册，环境优美、交通便利。

Xiangtan Vocational College of Science and Technology is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Hunan Province and filed by the Ministry of Education in 2024. Located in the University Town of North Second Ring Road, Xiangtan City, Hunan Province, the hometown of great men, it runs schools jointly with Xiangtan Technician College. The college covers an area of 508 mu with a total construction area of 123,600 square meters, equipped with teaching facilities such as teaching buildings, training buildings, libraries, and supporting venues including track and field stadiums. It has more than 5,000 sets of teaching instruments and equipment, and a collection of over 250,000 books, with a beautiful environment and convenient transportation.

学院现有教职工367人，其中专任教师256人，博士、硕士研究生78人，教授、副教授82人，双师型教师128人，拥有国家级技能大师工作室2个，全国技术能手2名，省级技术能手4名及国务院特殊津贴专家1人。学院秉持“产教融合、校企合作、德技并修、科技创新”办学理念，设置智能制造学院等五院一部，开设数控技术、电气自动化技术等专业，与三一集团、中联重科等知名企业建立战略合作，面向湖南招收全日制专科学生。

The college currently has 367 faculty members, including 256 full-time teachers, 78 doctors and masters, 82 professors and associate professors, and 128 double-qualified teachers. It has 2 national skill master studios, 2 national technical experts, 4 provincial technical experts, and 1 expert enjoying special government allowances from the State Council. Adhering to the school-running philosophy of "integration of industry and education, school-enterprise cooperation, integration of morality and skills, and scientific and technological innovation", the college has set up five schools and one department including the School of Intelligent Manufacturing, offering majors such as Numerical Control Technology and Electrical Automation Technology. It has established strategic cooperation with well-known enterprises like Sany Group and Zoomlion, and enrolls full-time junior college students in Hunan.
