襄阳汽车职业技术学院是经湖北省人民政府批准、教育部备案，于2010年4月成立的湖北省唯一一所汽车类公办高职院校，与襄阳广播电视大学实行“两块牌子、一套班子”管理模式，是湖北省高水平院校和高水平专业群建设单位。学校秉持“精耕汽车、深融产教、滋润职业、鼎力社会”的办学理念，以汽车专业为核心，构建了覆盖智能新能源汽车、智能制造、信息技术等领域的32个专业体系，其中国家骨干专业1个、省级特色专业4个，形成了“一核两翼、多科延伸”的专业布局。

Xiangyang Automotive Vocational and Technical College is the only public vocational college specializing in automotive industry in Hubei Province, approved by the Hubei Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education in April 2010. It operates under the "two brands, one team" management model with Xiangyang Radio and Television University, and is recognized as a Hubei Provincial High-level College and High-level Professional Group Construction Unit. Adhering to the educational philosophy of "Focusing on Automotive Industry, Integrating Production and Education, Nurturing Vocational Talents, and Serving Society", the college has developed 32 programs covering intelligent new energy vehicles, intelligent manufacturing, and information technology, including 1 national key program and 4 provincial characteristic programs, forming a "one core, two wings, multi-disciplinary extension" professional layout.

学校现有教职工600余人，其中双师型教师213人，全日制在校生1.2万余人。校园占地645亩，建有新能源汽车实训基地、智能制造产教融合中心等现代化教学设施，与东风汽车、比亚迪等企业共建产业学院，年社会培训量达1.5万人次。毕业生就业率连续保持95%以上，60%以上在湖北本地优质企业就业，是汉江流域汽车产业高素质技术技能人才培养的核心基地。

The college has over 600 faculty members, including 213 "dual-qualification" teachers, and more than 12,000 full-time students. Covering an area of 645 mu, the campus features modern teaching facilities such as new energy vehicle training bases and intelligent manufacturing industry-education integration centers. It has established industrial colleges with enterprises like Dongfeng Motor and BYD, providing annual social training for 15,000 person-times. With a graduate employment rate consistently exceeding 95%, over 60% of graduates secure positions in high-quality local enterprises in Hubei, making it a core talent cultivation base for the automotive industry in the Han River Basin.
