徐州生物工程职业技术学院（省内招生代码1233）始建于1956年，是经江苏省人民政府批准、教育部备案的专科层次公办全日制普通高等职业院校，地处国家“一带一路”重要节点城市、国家历史文化名城、淮海经济区中心城市——江苏徐州。学校秉持“瞻远行实”校训，立足“大生物、大健康”办学定位，坚持特色鲜明、优势明显发展道路，大力推进“治人文、精技术”教育教学改革，是江苏省唯一的生物工程类高等职业院校。

Xuzhou Vocational College of Bioengineering (in-province enrollment code 1233) was founded in 1956. It is a public full-time higher vocational college at the junior college level approved by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. Located in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, which is a key node city of the national "the Belt and Road Initiative", a national historical and cultural city, and the central city of the Huaihai Economic Zone. Adhering to the school motto of "Looking Far and Acting Practically", the college is positioned in the "Great Biology and Great Health" field, adheres to a development path with distinct characteristics and obvious advantages, and vigorously promotes the educational and teaching reform of "Emphasizing Humanities and Refining Technology". It is the only higher vocational college specializing in bioengineering in Jiangsu Province.

学校现有泉山校区、云龙校区、新沂校区和沛县校区，设有农林工程学院、动物工程学院、药品食品学院等10个二级教学单位，开设药学、生物制药、动物医学、现代农业、护理等40个专业。现有教职工481人，其中专任教师387人，高级职称148人，“双师型”教师257人，全日制在籍生1万余人。学校占地面积1000余亩，建筑面积30余万平方米，教科研仪器设备值1亿多元，建有208个实验实训基地，2个省级重点实验室和17个市工程技术研究中心，与千余家规模以上企业建立紧密合作关系，就业率始终保持在98%左右。

The college currently has four campuses: Quanshan, Yunlong, Xinyi and Peixian. It has 10 secondary teaching units including the College of Agricultural and Forestry Engineering, College of Animal Engineering, College of Pharmaceutical and Food Sciences, etc., offering 40 majors such as Pharmacy, Biopharmaceutics, Veterinary Medicine, Modern Agriculture, and Nursing. There are 481 faculty members, including 387 full-time teachers, 148 with senior professional titles, and 257 "double-qualified" teachers. The number of full-time students is over 10,000. The college covers an area of more than 1,000 mu, with a building area of more than 300,000 square meters. The value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is more than 100 million yuan. It has 208 experimental training bases, 2 provincial key laboratories and 17 municipal engineering technology research centers. It has established close cooperative relations with more than 1,000 enterprises above the designated size, and the employment rate has always remained around 98%.
