忻州职业技术学院是经山西省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案的全日制综合性公办高等职业技术院校，坐落于忻州市经济技术开发区，校园总占地面积485亩。学院由原忻州市农业机械化学校、商业学校、卫生学校、文化艺术学校于2004年合并升格组建，现有教职工519人，其中专任教师366人，高级职称91人，双师型教师184人，在校生近万人。

Xinzhou Vocational and Technical College is a full-time comprehensive public higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Shanxi Province and registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. Located in the Economic and Technological Development Zone of Xinzhou City, the college covers a total area of 485 mu. It was established in 2004 by merging Xinzhou Agricultural Mechanization School, Commercial School, Health School, and Cultural and Art School. Currently, it has 519 faculty members, including 366 full-time teachers, 91 with senior professional titles, 184 "double-qualified" teachers, and nearly 10,000 students.

学院秉承“自强不息、厚德尚能”校训，以服务区域经济社会发展为宗旨，形成了以护理、医学为主的基层医疗康养类，以新能源、现代装备制造为主的特色制造类，以文化创意为主的文化艺术类，以及对接数字化转型的现代信息技术类四大专业群，开设27个高职专业，拥有6个中央财政及省级重点专业。教学科研仪器设备总值5145.54万元，图书馆纸质图书53.9万册，电子图书27.5万册，毕业生一次性就业率连续保持在90%以上。

Adhering to the school motto of "Self-improvement, Virtue and Ability", the college aims to serve regional economic and social development. It has formed four major professional groups: grassroots medical and health care focusing on nursing and medicine, characteristic manufacturing focusing on new energy and modern equipment manufacturing, cultural and artistic focusing on cultural creativity, and modern information technology docking digital transformation. The college offers 27 higher vocational majors, including 6 key majors supported by central finance and provincial level. The total value of teaching and research equipment is 51.4554 million yuan, with 539,000 paper books and 275,000 e-books in the library. The one-time employment rate of graduates has remained above 90% for consecutive years.
