运城护理职业学院是由运城市人民政府举办的普通高等医学职业院校，2011年10月经山西省人民政府批准组建、教育部备案，其前身是1970年创办的运城地区卫生学校。学院位于山西省运城市盐湖区复旦西街，校园占地380亩，建筑面积12万平方米，西依舜帝公园，东邻运城学院，地理位置优越，交通便利，环境优美。

Yuncheng Vocational College of Nursing is a public higher medical vocational college sponsored by the Yuncheng Municipal People's Government. It was approved by the Shanxi Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education in October 2011. Its predecessor was Yuncheng Regional Health School founded in 1970. The college is located on Fudan West Street, Yanhu District, Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province, covering an area of 380 mu with a building area of 120,000 square meters. It is adjacent to Shun Di Park in the west and Yuncheng University in the east, enjoying a superior geographical location, convenient transportation and beautiful environment.

学院现有教职工305人，其中专任教师228人，"双师型"教师130人，高级职称教师46人，硕士研究生110人，国家级职业教育名师1人，省级学科带头人7人。设有护理系、口腔系、临床医学系、医学技术系和医学基础部、普通学科部、思政部及一所二级甲等附属医院，开设护理、助产、口腔医学、康复治疗技术等9个专业，全日制在校生6000余人。

The college currently has 305 faculty members, including 228 full-time teachers, 130 "double-qualified" teachers, 46 senior title teachers, 110 master's degree holders, 1 national vocational education famous teacher, and 7 provincial academic leaders. It has four departments and three divisions, including the Department of Nursing, Department of Stomatology, Department of Clinical Medicine, Department of Medical Technology, Department of Basic Medicine, Department of General Subjects, Department of Ideological and Political Education, and an affiliated second-class A hospital. It offers 9 majors such as nursing, midwifery, stomatology, and rehabilitation therapy technology, with more than 6,000 full-time students.

学院秉承"精业尚能，厚德济生"的校训，重视教学科研与实践教学，建有87个实验实训室和10个校内技能训练中心，拥有70余个教学医院及校外实习基地，仪器设备总值3700余万元，图书馆藏书26万余册。近年来获得省级以上教学科研成果25项，为国家培养了4万余名各类医学人才，先后荣获山西省模范单位、山西省园林式单位等荣誉称号。

Adhering to the school motto of "Excellence in Skills, Virtue in Service", the college attaches great importance to teaching, scientific research and practical teaching. It has 87 experimental training rooms, 10 on-campus skill training centers, more than 70 teaching hospitals and off-campus practice bases, with total value of instruments and equipment exceeding 37 million yuan and a library collection of more than 260,000 books. In recent years, it has obtained 25 teaching and scientific research achievements above the provincial level, cultivated more than 40,000 medical talents of various types for the country, and has been awarded the honorary titles of "Model Unit of Shanxi Province" and "Garden-style Unit of Shanxi Province" successively.
