宜昌科技职业学院是经湖北省人民政府批准、教育部备案，于2023年5月设立的公办全日制高等职业院校，同年9月正式揭牌成立。学校以湖北三峡技师学院为基础组建，以全日制普通专科层次学历教育为主，同时开展继续教育、职业培训、公共实训等多元服务，规划占地面积645亩，建筑面积19万平方米，固定资产达2.5亿元，教学仪器设备总值1.1亿元。

Yichang Science and Technology Vocational College is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the Hubei Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education in May 2023, officially unveiled in September of the same year. Established on the basis of Hubei Three Gorges Technician College, the college focuses on full-time general junior college education while providing continuing education, vocational training, public practical training and other services. It covers a planned area of 645 mu with a building area of 190,000 square meters, fixed assets of 250 million yuan, and teaching equipment worth 110 million yuan.

学校现有教职工354人，其中正高级职称7人、副高级职称128人，省市级名师工匠39名，开设数字化设计与制造技术、智能机电技术、大数据与会计等14个专科专业，全日制在校生近7000人。作为世界技能大赛工业控制项目中国集训基地、全国高技能人才培训基地，学校先后荣获全国教育系统先进集体、全国职业教育先进单位等荣誉称号。

The college has 354 faculty members, including 7 with senior professional titles and 128 with associate senior titles, as well as 39 provincial and municipal famous teachers and craftsmen. It offers 14 junior college majors such as Digital Design and Manufacturing Technology, Intelligent Electromechanical Technology, and Big Data and Accounting, with nearly 7,000 full-time students. As the national training base for the Industrial Control project of the World Skills Competition and a national high-skilled talent training base, the college has successively won honors such as "National Advanced Collective in Education System" and "National Advanced Unit in Vocational Education".
